Voldemort would be cool, but not authentic, unless we go into some sort of horcrux trance or something

And that rumor was a false rumor that was started.

We won't know for sure until we see the ride open, but I don't think we'll see Voldemort.

As a Potter fan, I don't want to see him in this ride. Or any ride, for that matter. The only way I could see him being in any sort of attraction would be some sort of show or a simulator where you are along-side Harry in the final battle or something like that.

If you're a muggle, which we're supposed to be in Wizarding World, Voldemort = Death. You can't survive seeing him. Him showing up means you die.

Was it proved false? I swear I saw some pretty convincing concept art of the ride layout that showed him in it.

Just remember JK never wanted Volemort in the parks, so its highly unlikely Universal talked her into it.

Merch Idea: I propose they start selling "Floating Candles". Single battery powered candles with thin strings you can use to attach to your own ceiling. Sure, the strings would ruin the magic of knowing how it works, but I would buy dozens of them :) I bet they could sell a single floating candle for $15 or more and people would buy several at a time. Maybe even 2 versions of them for sale--one being more expensive that has a mechanism that gently moves them for a floating effect.

Why don't you make them? Buy battery powered candles, tie fishing line around the fake flame, tie the other end of the fishing like to a thumb tack, attach to your ceiling and voila! Just as tacky  jk jk, but it's pretty much what you're willing to buy, just probably MUCH cheaper, and you have fun while making it

You have made me realize 2 things. 1) Great point, it would be much cheaper and fairly easy to make them myself. 2) The reality of actually using them would be very tacky, and I'm not sure where I would even put them? Also they're not very practical--having to turn them all on individually and replace batteries when they die. Hmm yeah I don't know what the heck I would actually do with them. Haha.

Sorry to crush that dream/idea :P Don't get me wrong, I'd love floating candles myself! but it'd be VERY hard/engineer-y and expensive to pull off right.

How about these for the original merch?

Baby versions of your favourite characters. When I first came across these I thought they were a fantastic photoshop job, reading further I found them to be real, no, no, not real real, that would be mad, but actual baby dolls made by artist Traci Ann Lister. Creepy.
