I don't think so. I think the closest thing is that we see shadows of random house elves in the Three Broomsticks.

I know it would be really hard to justify for Phase II, but I always thought Snape, and to a lesser extent McGonagall, were really big absences. Alan Rickman is a riot in that role.

Does any company make a life-sized Dobby? If not, I can see a $299.00 full-sized Dobby selling quite well.

I know... It would have been really cool to have Snape! At least for a few seconds, even as long as Hagrid appears on FJ.

I don't know that they make it anymore, but they still sell it some places:

I don't want a life-sized Dobby statue. I don't think anyone does. That thing only had a cute personality.

I considered buying a lifesize Dobby for all of two minutes before remembering what he looked like. I would rather not have that watching me sleep, thanks.

A lifesize Grawp would be interesting.

Agreed. Imagine waking up to those eyes in the dark! But I'd buy a life-sized Daniel Radcliffe in a heartbeat! ;)

Oddly enough, DanRad is not the actor I think of when I think of the Harry character. It's either just book!Harry or Darren Criss.

Now, a life-size Emma Watson or Matthew Lewis...

(Okay, back on topic: I'm all for more unique merch in the parks!)

I strongly agree. I think what makes WWOHP magical is the fact that we don't necessarily see much of the other characters. It makes the journey more real because we all know Harry and the gang usually make these trips and aren't supposed to. When I took my little brother to the park he was asking me if we'd see McGonagall or Luna and I simply told him "they're in school". Showing all the character probably would have the whole thing cheesy.

I think you are right Hedwig. I just like Snape! Would have taken him over Dumbledore, even though the current setup is surely more effective.

Speaking of merchandise, I haven't heard it discussed yet what stores and merchandise will be appearing in the London portion of Phase 2 (as opposed to Diagon Alley itself). Will there be boutiques selling uniquely English snacks and candies? Will there be one of those tourist-centric shops so prevalent in London with souvenirs of union jack hats and cookie jars shaped like Big Ben? If so, AWESOME!!!

Is anyone else really hoping that the Hogwarts Express will have the sweets trolley to buy Harry Potter related desserts from. If they do have this I also would think and hope there would be Butterbeer too.

Voldemort was never in Gringotts. He was never much of a "present" villain... Tom Riddle was a total coward :skellington:
