Is the new restaurant going to be full service, or counter?

That would be a perfect use for the Knight Bus! But delivery could also mean room service to the mythical boutique hotel rooms located in the floor above the Leaky Cauldron restaurant...with the Knight Bus acting as the shuttle for hotel guests. How's that for an out of the box rumor?

I have gotten insider "info"... yet I will not repeat it as I don't trust Universal or Comcast at this point. It could be a witch-hunt. Only thing I will repeat is what I see with my own eyes in detailed engineering plans and workshop photos.

I think everyone should stop hating on the dragon, until we can actually see it. You never know, it could be really incredible.

I'm thinking it will probably just blow smoke, as fire will be too expensive, not to mention difficult to maintain.

It's nice to see some surprises that even the most "knowledgable" people on the board are taken back by...

When I read this quote of Thierry Coup in the cfnews13.com article...
The fantastic way that Harry Potter goes down into this bank in the first film, we wanted to bring that to life. In collaborating with Warner Bros. and the filmmaker who created those visuals, we're going to bring you this incredible ride experience that's good for the whole family that everyone's going to be able to enjoy.

I don't imagine a thrilling rollercoaster ride or a huge, scary, fire-breathing dragon. This sounds more like calm ride-through tour of Gringotts with funny-looking goblins.

Why is everyone so quick to jump to the conclusion that when they say "family" they are meaning "kiddie"?

when they say ..good for the "whole family" and that "everyone is going to be able to enjoy" it makes me a little nervous..

but I suppose it would make sense as FJ is a much more intense ride that most kids and some adults! are scared to ride.

However, if you are trying to attract the family..putting a giant fire breathing dragon on top of your ride may not be the best idea...

Gringotts will be the most technologically advanced ride on earth. It will be exciting, but it won't be FJ-level intense. We've known this for quite sometime.

A ride doesn't have to be intense to be great!! I think Universal is being very smart in making Gringotts family friendly. That will bring in the families and all of their $$. Not just Dad with the older kids for one day, but the enitre family for 2 or more days. That's what they need and I think this area will bring it.

Also, if he said it's based off of when Harry goes down in the first film, that's not nearly as exciting as when he goes down in the last film. I hope it's based off of the last movie much more than the first.

Again, we've known for a good long while that this ride will not be very "rollercoaster-y". It will be exciting, it will have its dips and turns, but it's not going to be the Harry Potter version of The Mummy.

I find it extremely refreshing that Gringotts is more family oriented. As said before, that does not mean a kiddie ride and Universal needs an original Potter attraction to counteract the intensity of FJ. Kudos to Universal!

Completely agreed. This could be Universal's Space, Splash, or Big Thunder Mountain.

When I think "whole family" I'm thinking less intense then the "Mountains". I'm thinking 7 Dwarf Mine Train....but who knows, its all just press speak. We won't know until we actually ride it.
