How will the HE work on days when IOA closes before USF?

I know quite often it is booked out for corporate events and closes earlier than USF for other reasons.... Will HE have an earlier closing time than the rest of the park?

The hours can be changed. The ride could close earlier than park. They could walk you back to USF though backstage or some combo of these.

or they could just ride you both directions
(that last line still sound dirty)

As someone who's never read the books, watched the movies, nor cares about the accuracy of Phase 2 in regards to the books/movies, I find it entertaining to read pages upon pages of Potter purists squabbling over minor details. The general public, like myself who lack knowledge of the Potter universe, will be so wrapped up in the environment of this new area, rides, etc., that the accuracy or inaccuracy of certain things won't even be noticed.

I totally agree. I could care less about the accuracy of things of this nature. So Voldemort shows up, or im sitting in the mouth of a dragon. Its a theme park and im there to live in the fantasy and have fun

Great pictures Mike

I find it humerous that this giant expansion with 2 new rides, shops, park to park transportation, and a restaurant will be finished in less time then a small family coaster..but this is kind of beating a dead horse at this point. I was really expecting Potter part 2 to open in 2015.

As far as accuracy goes, I could also care less, as Ive only seen the movies, and just once each, so I get a lot of this stuff mixed up. In fact I learned more about Potter from this forum then watching the actual movies because of all the super fans. My wife, who hasn't seen any of the Potter movies, enjoyed the area and the ride, even if she had no idea what was going on during it.

I may be wrong, but I'm fairly sure it was said back around Phase 1 that J.K. Rowling vetoed using Voldemort, as it sets a certain time frame for when the land is or something like that.

Seems to me that would be a lame rationalization. Doesn't the appearance of Harry, Ron, and Hermione as students in FJ set the exact same timeframe?

My question is the trio not in the ride because they weren't asked to be or if they didn't want to be....

my guess regarding the "story" of the Bank ride..is that you are going to be doing a rare tour of the vault, and at some point, something goes wrong, you go through a few close calls and your saved by one of the characters, you nearly meet your doom, before you make it back to the vault entrance and everyone waves goodbye or says good work!.

I just described every theme park attraction.

Is it possible the dragon will only appear during some kind of nighttime 'show' at Gringotts, thus giving people an incentive to stay in Diagon Alley later?

I doubt it. They have a nighttime show in the lagoon they want everyone to see

Wow, that 10 minute chopper video shows how absolutely worthless that new painting is. The painting has two huge inner courtyards in the middle of the Leaky building... where none will ever exist. So, this new "concept "art"" is just a smudge of junk info and dragon controversy. NEXT!!!

It's called concept art. It's ALWAYS like that. Not sure why you're surprised.

 great post rhino. :rep:

Just off the top of my head, the "And then something goes horribly wrong!" plot in that situation can be applied to...

Dinosaur, It's Tough to Be a Bug, Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, Stich, Despicable Me, Terminator, Mummy, MIB, Simpsons, Jurassic Park, Popeye, Hulk, Spiderman, and FJ :stunned:

Eh, in Spider-man something's already going horribly wrong from the start lol.

"And something goes horribly wrong" is basically the go to story for all theme parks.

Because the Phase I owl painting is HYPER accurate and clear. I think that is a reasonable reason to expect similar. The only thing modified in that was the dead-end alleyway being removed and that was a completely reasonable change.

I swear, if I said that it was the most beautiful concept art ever painted, JungleSkip would find a way disagree with me. :bang:
