Halloween Horror Nights 23 Speculation

Not eating good today :)

Didn't know where to post this since there isn't a merchandise thread, but I think the shirts this year are as terrible or even as worse as last year. So bad that I had spreadshirt.com make one for me that i designed so I'm not stuck wearing that hideous thing! I always feel like they need to do something simple...Check out what I'll be wearing below :)

Not entirely sure you'll be able to get away with getting that.

But will universal make you remove it and hand it over for copyright infringement?

Not saying its right but I doubt the 7.75/hour ticket-takers are going to spot a copyright infringement lawsuit among throngs of people. The shirt will blend in enough that it probably wont be an issue.

Brazilian tourist groups (among others) use Disney characters/logos for their custom shirts all the time... I think they've got bigger fish to fry.

what I didn't understand about that is why they didn't let the guy get a new shirt

Not to go off on a huge tangent, but it seems that the guy made a big scene about wearing the shirt that was causing the commotion--he probably was offered a new shirt. There's a whole thread discussing it in the Miscellaneous Universal section.

Back to HHN, since we can't really speculate about big things anymore, I wonder what will change as the event goes on? The porno scene in AWiL is nothing explicit and I didn't see B&T so I'm not sure about things getting cut...anyone think stuff will be added or improved? I personally think La Llorona is not getting enough credit for scares and that its cast will step it up big time as the event progresses.

I'm sure The American Werewolf in London puppets will take a beating. I know the one attacking Jack in the moors has been having problems due to drunken/idiotic guests. Apparently they're still tweaking with Merman, which is good because it sounds like his appearance is entirely underwhelming after all the hype.

Haven't heard about much else. Bill & Ted should see its usual tightening up/adding quick jokes throughout the run.

I read somewhere (I think from Seth Kubersky on Twitter?), that by the second night, Havoc's inflatable walls seemed to have been deflated a bit for better traffic flow. I only did Havoc opening night and not Saturday, so I'll see if I can feel a difference this Friday when I go back.

Doesn't that Werewolf attack scene have a sort of screen in front of it to prevent hands getting to it?
And I hope so about Merman. I don't remember seeing him move in the slightest.
