I say this every year, and I'll say it every consecutive year. Jimmy, is just a guy with a camera. I could go online and make videos every year as well, and I bet if I did it enough years people would start to believe what I'm saying as fact. When you're vague enough you can start to connect things together and claim you're factual. He releases these videos on April 1st for a reason. Grain of salt.

Jimmy said not too long ago that his April Fools videos are purely coincidental and that he's not doing clues next year as he told his sources he wants to keep the suspense (JDW also cut off his sources for the same reason)

First off, Dr. Jimmy's videos are not really that vague if you take the time to look into them. Second, he's been pretty much spot on for the past few years. Third, he doesn't release all the videos on April 1st. However, he does release an April Fools video which is just for fun and is for the most part incorrect (maybe you're confused or just don't know what you're talking about). This year he released his videos early because someone else pretty much leaked the whole list before he was even done filming all of them. You ^^^ could go online and make videos, but you aren't. Don't dismiss the work of someone who's just trying to make it fun for other people who enjoy attempting to decode the potential lineup.

Now that we have the list (which may not be the list), any other thoughts as to what else "Blizzard" could be since it was 1 of the official code names?
The 2nd official code name "Party" almost certainly has to be the Alice in Wonderland house (tea party), which gives more credibility to the list we already have. However, for the sake of discussion, anyone have any more theories as to what else it could be besides that?

I believe that is the Body Collector's vs Psychoscareapy house that takes place during the famous Blizzard of 1888.

First off, Dr. Jimmy's videos are not really that vague if you take the time to look into them. Second, he's been pretty much spot on for the past few years.

He's had at least 4 years of accurate predictions. Started with the obscure songs last year because his clues were becoming too obvious. Maybe a song or two could be generic enough to fit some house/SZ, but when you're talking 14 songs? No way this is a cold read.

It's obvious he has a fairly high-up source who likes seeing clues leaked out early. As I've said before, it's not like these rumors go beyond the hard-core 0.1% fans who are going to buy tickets anyway. I suspect someone in a creative role gets as excited about HHN as we do, enjoys helping to build excitement for the event. If Universal really cared, they probably could have figured out the source years ago (and slapped Jimmy with a C&D, tho I question if it would be enforceable). If they haven't taken those simple steps, I doubt they'd go to the effort of creating a plausible fake event list.

Can someone do a Google Docs of his predictions and the actual houses? There's a lot of "he's always right!" but not enough actual fact checking. Not doubting here, but it's always good to do some research.

You guys can disagree all you want, I've been following this event for a long time, know a lot more of these people personally, and can confirm that when he started doing video 3 years ago that it was for April Fool's. It's not coincidental, but what do I know, I've only been following this event for 9 years now, and I have far better reasons to not make videos.

Ok... So because Dr. Jimmy made 1 video 3 years ago for April Fools, that means that the following 8 cryptic clues released in 2013 (which matched up correctly), the 14 videos from last year (which matched up correctly), and the 14 released this year (which seem to match the rumored list that has been leaked) somehow carry no weight? I've participated in the deciphering process of most of the clues he's given, so I know for a fact he's legit. You followed the event for 9 years... What does that have to do with his videos exactly? It also wasn't a coincidence that I put together a full correct list of houses and scare zones in early June last year using his clues. It would have been even earlier if he hadn't staggered the videos over time last year. The last video was dropped much later than this year. There are a lot of people who speculate on youtube and toss out lots of bogus info, Dr. Jimmy is not one of those.

A permit was filled to start construiction in the Disaster Extended queue.... Hopefully see some plywood soon but my guess will be after Grad Adventure.

Forward to me implies the future (as in 2016)... So, unless the lineup is changed by Universal, which in my opinion they should do at least a little, his clues for this season of spec are still valid. However, I'm not going to sit back and listen to someone discredit the work of my favorite speculator.
Dr. Jimmy took time out of his life to make make all these videos just so that some of us can have some extra fun leading up to the event. Going forward this most likely won't be happening anymore and I think it's mainly because of a select few who have ruined it. It's pretty sad really.

Well damn... Dr. Jimmy actually sent me a message that he wants me to post for him here, so here it is.
"It doesn't really matter any more as I have given up the whole cryptic clue thing. I no longer will receive any inside information. But just to set the record straight: my April Fools jokes and my Cryptic Clues are two very different things.

I first posted April Fools on April First 2011. Ive done that every year since and always on April First. Those are just jokes which sometimes only by weird coincidence have something close to the truth. Penn & Teller was the weirdest, and again those were lucky coincidences.

My Cryptic videos were first posted in June 2012. Not April but around June 10th. These were NOT jokes but actual clues. I continued those with Cryptic Comments in 2013 which started on April 2nd AFTER the jokes were over with. Last year I began Cryptic Performances in May. This year I started those videos on April 2nd again. But due to the reasons I have posted elsewhere I will neither do the remaining three clues this year or any others in the future.

If any one has the time or even cares enough to bother they can see that all the various cryptic clues match up exactly to the houses and zones for 2012, 2013 and 2014. In fact the deleted clues that were changed also match up exactly to the houses that were scrapped! Dr. Pepper for AWiL in 2012 for example.

So yeah, this was hardly just a cold read."

With that, I guess I can move on.

That's about the same thing HTF said when he quit the insider stuff. I guess there's something to be said for surprise & anticipation.

Wow, in the last 8 years I could not imagine logging in to a HHN discussion forum in the middle of May and see literally no new posts for 6 days. This whole "leak the full list 4-5 months early" thing really takes all the fun out of the build-up.
