Interestingly enough, Jurassic World originally had a scene that would lend itself to this perfectly.

I can understand why these did not make it as a concept into Jurassic World. It would be best to have some things saved for attractions in the sequel, because since the park having accidents and unleashing dinos can get old, we need as many dreamy attractions as we can get glimpses of and their workings.

If they were to use some of the path of Flyers but completely re track it we could get a gentle swinging sky ride sensation with perhaps a few dark ride scenes over Pterodactyl paddocks. This could have a re purposed interactive Discovery Center queue partially inside with station connected to Discovery Center and then it glides over Camp Jurassic with some Paddock scenes were Triceratops Encounters' Left overs are.

Just relaying what i saw but screamscape has a huge "update" regarding the future of the parks. Lance is saying that JP is getting an update of some kind with flat rides, enhanced dino encounters etc. He also said stuff regarding nintendo and pets but idk if its 100% reliable info.

With Screamscape, its worth noting that you always have to take a major grain of salt in their rumors, some may be true; but they have a track record of it being true eerily similar to MiceChats to me.

That said; theres some credibility to the rumor to me. The reason why I say that, is Hollywood is also included in the potential upgrading of Jurassic Park: River Adventure (they just call it "The Ride" ala Japan..but I digress) with both the two versions being rebranded to represent the new iteration of the Jurassic brand.

That said; I do not believe in the other rumors he has for the JP overhaul, as I would of thought of there being notice of word by some of the more reliable insiders here on OU and on other forums. That said; if something out of it's true, I wouldn't be a damned bit shocked of it being the Revamp of JPRA for both coasts..

..as is for the other rumors he mentioned; that can be for the other threads.

(It may also be the personal side of me, wanting to see them go full on and revamp the Animatronics much like how Knotts had Garner redo their Log Flume AA's)

Some of those JP rumors in Orlando were fairly similar to the rumors floating around before they started building Kong.

Would a re-brand of river adventure to Jurassic World be something you can see happening here if it does happen in Hollywood?

I know Universal Pictures wants new significant stuff in the parks. But I don't know how much control they ultimately have with things like that.

Fingers crossed that updates/expansions are coming, one way or another. Jurassic Park/World deserves modern Universals love, care and attention to detail.

Well, the sequels are 100% getting away from parks (per the director/writers) - so those scenes weren't cut to be used down the line.

This has reminded me of something from my previous trip. In the queue for Raptor Encounter, there is a roped-off pathway that heads off to the right. Being a bold (and nosey) type, I took a quick hike under the rope and walked around the corner to find approximately 10 machines underneath a wooden Hut structure. The machines were about the same dimensions as Disney's mymagic+ stations and whilst most were covered, 2 of them weren't and had monitor screens on them.
I took a couple of pictures, but won't post them here, per the rules.
I never did Triceratops Encounter back in the day, but is this some old remnant from that?

I believe that when the Wizarding world reaches capacity, those machines are used to give people a return time to allow entry to that area of the park.

But that structure is the first room of the Triceratops Encounter. There's a little pathway that leads out behind it and it goes farther into the trail.

Screamscape reports two coasters, flat rides, possibly gyrosphere and something like Raptor encounter but expanded. Lol, don't think they have the land for all of that there.
