I'm just waiting for walls to come down. I wonder if the Provisions Tent/small gift shop will have walls down first before the ride like the Mess Tent.

Turning over the reigns to the attractions department. Meaning, she's ready to go get her opened.
The attraction is signed off and completed by Uni creative and now attraction ops is given the go to run it from there out.

Exactly. It's no longer a work zone, Universal Creative and contractors no longer control the schedules, etc. It's basically the last major hurdle before the ride opens.
And of course the general public can not enter the attraction/area until it has been turned over.
Meaning, storm the building at first notice of turn over. #KONGWATCH

Remember, we're seeing the driver from a long distance zoom through a light reflected window. A human would look weird from that picture. Wait until you see it in person.

Well, I take it that KongWatch is going to get very interesting..
Outside the box way to market a theme park attraction via billboard, but smart.
Put an attractive woman on the billboard, give the url to something that looks like a TV Show and then they realize it's a theme park ad
I will never know about this stuff as I have little interest in operations. I always have found the term "handed over" to be a loose term as more often than not UC and final vendors are creeping all over the place. I am sure they are in charge of when and when not the attraction can be run if at all.

From what it seems on USHForums; they are aiming to have the walls down by Thursday, and hoping to have the ride soft open before the park closes on Friday.
Ain't nothing happening till we get some walls down, wouldn't be surprised to see this happen early next week.

Something to think about.
Would universal be dumb enough to take the walls down before Grad Bash is over? Next Saturday night is the last Bash. I'd think they'd be too worried about kids "scratching the new paint job."

In a funny way, I could see it as..something else.
It'd be a test of Guinea pigs, to see if the target audience of young adults squirm and get frightened by RoK..which, I think would be hilarious to see.
