I really hope they bring them over, even if it's not during HHN, at the least during the day. It'd be really cool if they came out during the stay and scream Diagon Alley zone.

Could it be a crowd thing? As to why this is going to Japan before/rather than Orlando. HHN is busy enough as it is - add Potter into the mix and woah, it could get crazy.

I could see them doing some kind of upcharge event during HHN based on the success of this...

Maybe that's why there is some debate about 5 or 6 Scarezones?

For USJ, the Death Eaters wouldn't be as a scarezone; it'd be a live show within the land.

A&D had repeatedly said they had never asked JK if they could horror-up Harry Potter. When Hogsmeade opened, they weren't interested in using IoA for HHN, and Diagon just opened (and doing a zone there would be a logistical nightmare sense you don't go through it).

The books features monsters, senseless murder and wizard Hitler. JK wrote it to be scary. It was always a possibility.

I could see it being a more family friendly offering in IOA. It would be good to have something to balance out HHN, especially when USF closes early.

This is a perfect idea. Wonder if they could work it out so if they keep IOA open later (say 10pm) for a Death Eater event, could they keep the train open to allow HHN guests quick passage between the two parks to see the Death Eaters without needing to go thru the security line again.

This brings up an interesting unrelated point. Will there even be a security line for HHN anymore?

I brought this up when they added metal detectors to the parking hub. Someone smartly reminded me that HHN has stricter rules...I think things like outside food, selfie sticks...they just seem to ban more stuff for HHN than they do during the day from what I recall, so I imagine there will still be something.

The security checkpoints aren't going anywhere...not in this day and time anyway.

Yeah I remember discussing it back then as well. I guess there are two possibilities, they will either heighten the main one at the hub to encompass the stricter requirements for HHN or add a second one as they have in the past at the entrance. It would seem redundant to go through metal detectors twice, perhaps if they do have a secondary check it will just be bags, pockets, ankles and all the other stuff they usually look at specifically for HHN.

Once they're announced, I'd say yes.

They are really strict on any kind of pills at HHN, no matter if they are legitimate.

I've always found it interesting how they don't impose the same restrictions on people who do stay and scream (bags/selfie sticks etc.). That's always how I get around bringing my bag in, helps to hold the souvenir cups and bottles of water to stay hydrated in between all those shots.

Can you not bring bags in? I sometimes bring a backpack with me when I go, but I always do stay and scream.

I thought I remembered it saying that somewhere but I can't find it anywhere. Maybe I was thinking of the water bottles I bring in.
