And by Disaster, you mean hitting capacity every day. Right?Disaster

I do have a question for those who have gone.
I know you have to leave your shoes for the slides- are there any that you can wear shoes on? Water shoes or crocs or something? The water coaster maybe?
My youngest is JUST at 42". Maybe even 41.5ish. We go next month. She can ride 42" rides here at six flags with just regular tennis shoes (no thick bottom or "napkins"). So a legitimate 42"- so will be able to do gringots, MiB, etc because she'll have shoes on. But she won't be 42" on shoeless water rides unless she grows half an inch in a month. Possible, but unlikely.
So with that said- if she can ride the water coaster with crocs on or something, that'd be great news.

I don't think he was going to be there for long anyways...Tim Tracker in general is really positive but the fact he left the park after 3 hours tells the story. Huge lines for every ride, wave pool crammed, massive queue to get in the lazy river...awful wait times for food still.

I don't.As for the capacity.. I still think it's handling fewer guests than it's supposed to.
Yeah, Tim doesn't tend to spend more than three or four hours at a park. Just pop in and out to get a gander at what's new or whatever the topic of discussion for the day is.I don't think he was going to be there for long anyways...
Am I the only one that thinks they need some sort of obstacle course/ adult water playground in the new expansion?
All they really need is a people-eater water coaster, a multi-slide tower, another restaurant, and something else for people to do without waitingI love that idea. It has to be with deep water though. I remember something like that at WhiteWater in Grand Prairie Texas. That was such a sweet park with really good water rides. It was better than the Wet N Wild/Hurricane Harbor further down the freeway. Too bad it only lasted a few years.
Has the 200lb slide weight limit changed?
It is still 230 lb for Kala Tai Nui Serpentine slides last I checked.I think it's been upped to 230lbs. I'm sure somebody else will be able to confirm.
I just can't believe that untested they sold APs for Volcano Bay. I would have held off because I'm sure a LOT of the capacity problems are caused by AP holders coming back time after time (and complaining loudly about it each time).

I agree. I think it needs to become a "limit 4 visits per pass April-September" situation or unlimited with premium for 2018. Charge the 100 bucks- which makes it $25/visit or something to that affect. But I agree @GAcoaster - that is certainly something they didn't consider. That's probably what saw the increase this weekend. One of the last weekends of summer plus first weekend for a lot of passholders since June.
