Nintendo Coming to Universal Parks

The leaked plans had a lot more details and filler attractions than what has ben rumored on here to be coming. Maybe they decided they wanted to go back to the original idea, but need more room.

I'll try to get more info. The only reason I said anything is, because someone else mentioned it on here. So I just wanted to back that rumor up and say I heard it too. Sometimes I don't want to ask him too much but I'll see what I can do.

The obvious solution would be to grow into empty space back behind Simpsons, no?

And the added features wouldn't do the IPs justice. A single Pokémon building and no ride is a sham.

Pokemon is like Potter, with a new base game and map every 2-3 years, they could easily make another Pokemon based area with unique transportation like in the game.

Unless they decided they want it as the centerpiece of Park 4. Think DL Fantasyland density except with Peach's Castle at the center of the park leading into it.

Again, unless they're really gonna move on Park 3 (can we stop pretending VB is Park 3?) I don't see how this makes sense.

I believe the everything in one spot that was displayed in that early ground plan was an early layout to help seal the deal with Nintendo. I only heard of two attractions with yoshi only being a wish.

Yoshi was definitely included as recently as two months ago in the plans as far as I know. (Along with the big two of course.) And that was without removing ET, before you ask.

Kinda reminds me that Universal Studios Florida never has a castle like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at nearby Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Japan, and Universal Studios Hollywood. A Peach Castle in USF should be really feasible.

I love how some people act like there will only be one Nintendo land in Orlando and that Mario is the only Nintendo IP that could be a huge draw to Site B therefore it has to be saved for it.

Unpopular opinion:
I would be 100% okay if we had to wait two years longer to get SNW if it meant that Mario was the huge draw to the park and that Princess Peach's castle was the centerpiece of the park. Having an even huger and grander Peach's Castle as the park's central icon would be amazing and would guarantee the Orlando version of SNW is the best. Not to mention being in a new park would remove the size constraint and would give the Mushroom Kingdom the potential to be grander. And another unpopular opinion: Mario is a much bigger draw than Pokemon. Pokemon is definitely popular with the 25 and under crowd but it doesn't entirely connect with those who are older; Mario is literally popular with any age group. If anything, I think Pokemon should come to USF and Mushroom Kingdom should be in Park 3.

I mean, I had been told that, but I don't believe it. They really have to get moving to prep that land for construction if that's still the goal

Hmm... well I stand by statement earlier, but ONLY if it's two years extra. I could survive two more years... but anything more... yeesh.
