Yeah, this is definitely a 2020 addition. It's too early to be a 2021 project.

Does anyone know how much of Jurassic Park area is actually closed? Like how will this affect my upcoming trip?

The games are the only things that are closed, but JPRA is under refurbishment until January 25

Basically:

-New Raptor-themed coaster coming to the waterfront
-Moved/Upgraded Raptor Encounter coming
-Possibly the land getting a JW retheme with the JPRA upgrade that Hollywood is getting

Thanks! Looking at maps and based on the space the new HP coaster is taking up, I can't see how they'd be able to fit anything in there. But also I don't design coasters so what do I know.

They will be very different coasters. The JP one will be lightly themed (maybe one scene at the beginning @Alicia?) and more thrill based, while the Potter one is all about theming and show scenes.

Don’t be so quick. There’s a lot of work to be done. Even the track replacement for Hulk was 16 months.

The walls are to the kong side of the raptor encounter. Looks like months before they have to close it

It’s near the entrance, but Raptor is still open for now. The queue isn’t impacted by the walls.
