Aww.

Still, my guess is still gonna be more choreographed scenes, maybe live comedy? like with the Boney Bros last year and the Chucky balcony back in 13.

Gotta say I hope the roaming chainsaw hordes make a return, they really spiced things up on the closing weekend of last year since them being in different locations made it so you wouldn't really be able to escape them until it was too late. Hopefully with some kind of good theme (I'm holding out for Hollywood Harry's Travelling Troupe myself) it could really add a new form of unpredictability to the zones.

Off topic, but seeing that picture Freak posted reminded me of those Behind the Screams videos Murdy used to post, based on how they did mazes, scares zones and such. Usually only like 4 parts. I think he did them from 2008-2010/11? Either way, got me all nostalgic!

It’s been said to death, but I really just want new scares, sure boo holes in a dark hallway is a pretty effective scare (and it usually gets me ngl), but it doesn’t make it good. Stop with the obvious boo holes and throw in some bungies and some scares from above every once in a while. The closest thing to a new scare we’ve gotten in the past 3 years has been the “popping out of a screen” scare from HoB, Poltergeist, and UCM and even that’s just a glorified boo hole. I want something that’ll blow my mind, but that might be asking for a bit much.

Dark hallway doesn’t even scare me anymore. I always expect it.

Okay everyone just an update on our rumored roster so far
- Stranger Things (Confirmed)
- Ghostbusters
- Holidayz in Hell
- Horrors Of Blumhouse 3 (HDD2 and Us)
- Suspiria
- Mexican Original
- Universal Classic Monsters 2

So far, this looks really good. Any mistakes on the lineup I forgot?
EDIT: Completely forgot about UCM 2 but idk what will it replace

The Orlando side is saying Haunting is getting pretty unlikely so that one might be out. We also could see a return of UCM

I honestly thought that "im skeptical of ghosts" meant that Hill House wasn't coming instead of Ghostbusters being on the lineup

So I guess UCM will replace Haunting of Hill House for the lineup list. I feel as if they will use Hill House as a replacement for Stranger Things once it gets old.

Yeah same, especially since Hill House is getting renewed as an anthology

Edit - On another note, anyone see Murdy’s twitter? He said forced perspective is gonna be used in a maze this year which immediately makes me think of Patricia’s death from Suspiria since the scale of that scene is huge

IF Blumhouse returns (which I’m sliding into the “Unlikely” column), it wouldn’t include Us. Us isn’t a Blumhouse picture.

Huh, how did I not know that? Well what properties would HOB3 include besides HDD2?

Thriller probably wouldn't work because I'm pretty sure no one has heard of that and it doesn't even have a release date.

And I have absolutely no idea why Ma keeps getting pulled into the topic of discussion. The trailer literally has nothing to pull (Content-Wise) into a maze and it looks absolutely hilarious. Like really really funny in a bad way.

They’re the only Blumhouse things I remembered off the top of my head but idk about Ma; we said that about Truth or Dare and that came

Someone finally said it, the movie looks straight bad. Aside from the basement maybe theres literally nothing to pull. Who would the main scare in that house even be? Someone in an Octavia Spencer mask? that sounds awful

No Truth or Dare looked bad but it actually had some stuff based off the trailer you can do. Scenes and environments. They didn't intend to do ToD and Murdy even said that. But it had content and they made it.

Ma literally just looks bad and has nothing to go off of in the trailer.

If Legacy puts Blumhouse in the unlikely Category and then there's this tweet... Not saying Blumhouse 3 can't happen but it seems sorta unlikely.

Ma doesn't look bad at all. It looks familiar & fun, but not bad. And you're really judging the trailer as a source for maze content? That's dumb. That is also the mindset of how you end up with movie marketing showing the entire movie before it even comes out. Good editing for a trailer isn't going to show you :poop:

Also, just because Orlando is unlikely to have Blumhouse 3.0, doesn't mean Hollywood won't get it. Hell, for all we know it could be a Blumhouse Double-Feature of Happy Death Day 1 & 2 (which i'd be okay with as long as they made up for the crappy budget-cut section we got in 2017).
