Ma doesn't look bad at all. It looks familiar & fun, but not bad. And you're really judging the trailer as a source for maze content? That's dumb. That is also the mindset of how you end up with movie marketing showing the entire movie before it even comes out. Good editing for a trailer isn't going to show you :poop:

Also, just because Orlando is unlikely to have Blumhouse 3.0, doesn't mean Hollywood won't get it. Hell, for all we know it could be a Blumhouse Double-Feature of Happy Death Day 1 & 2 (which i'd be okay with as long as they made up for the crappy budget-cut section we got in 2017).

1 - if Ma is going to be in a maze, how are they gonna get the actresses to do it. realistically, it'll be a mask. if they do that, it'll just look weird as hell like previous masks (jack torrance and ash). and if they did a face actor, im sorry but there isn't alot of africian actors in hhn. the first purge had a africian character in the maze (skeletor), but that was done by a mask.
2 - so far, both blumhouse mazes were shared in the past 2 years. it's unlikely for hollywood to get a sequel and just leave orlando hanging.

The Truth or Dare trailer looked like crap and the movie was crap. It doesn't look fun it looks the same crap Blumhouse puts out. Typically the Blumhouse mazes are shared. The trailer for both HDD2U and Us (Although Monkeypaw had content). And the movies HDD2U had some content and Us had a lot.

Going off the fact that last year's maze was one of the lowest received ones and they can't really use a lot of Blumhouse properties due to rights is a major issue. And the fact that Murdy says undetermined kinda makes me think they aren't working with Blumhouse. HDD1 and HDD2U could make a house yes. But I just see it as unlikely.

haha... wow. I'm just yea.. :look:

Just because something is shared with Orlando once or even twice, doesn't mean it is a requirement. They are still first and foremost two completely separate events.

The Ma trailer literally shows the whole movie and i can come to the conclusion its probably not going to translate well to a maze.

It’s been said to death, but I really just want new scares, sure boo holes in a dark hallway is a pretty effective scare (and it usually gets me ngl), but it doesn’t make it good. Stop with the obvious boo holes and throw in some bungies and some scares from above every once in a while. The closest thing to a new scare we’ve gotten in the past 3 years has been the “popping out of a screen” scare from HoB, Poltergeist, and UCM and even that’s just a glorified boo hole. I want something that’ll blow my mind, but that might be asking for a bit much.

Go to Knott's. They're much more inventive with their scares. While I didn't find The Depths last year as great as many others did, their "underwater" scare was one of the most inventive and creative scares I have ever seen. As well as the flying ghost in the opening scene of Paranormal, Inc.

Yeah, knotts has access to more warehouses/permanent buildings to put their mazes inside of, allowing more elaborate scare tactics (actors on bungee cords, harnesses, etc..), whereas most of ours are temporary.

Loved knotts last year, and to be fair i love HHN every year (even 2017), maybe bungees are a bit much for our temporary mazes, but it doesnt need to be crazy to be new or refreshing. Theres plenty of small things they could do to switch it up.

True, but that underwater effect could really be done anywhere. If they really put their minds to it, I'm sure an original scare could be done even in a temporary location. Heck, even SFMM had some original scares with the sewer bridge effect in Sewer of Souls and that super narrow hallway in Condamned.

That said, I think HHN feels those Boo Boxes work (and they do), so more must be better. Problem is, as the saying goes, "too much candy makes anyone sick".

GUESS WHAT GUYS THE LINE UP GOT LEAKED!

-The Walking Dead (Duh)

-Ghostbusters (747): based on the remake

-Stranger Things (SS 29): Obviously confirmed

-La Llorona: Electric Bugoo (WaterWorld): This time it’s a new spin on the original maze. Only this time she’ll be a lesbian because the internet demanded it. It will be co-designed by Kathleen Kennedy.

-Jaws: Bloody Waters (Parisian): With Baby Shark playing.

-John Murdy’s Black Wall Maze That Ends With His Bald Head. (The roof of Jurassic World)

-Big Chungus Vs Shaggy (Metro)

-Metallica: Master of Puppets - Music by Slash (Backlot firehouse)

-Lord of the Rings: Voldermont’s Revenge! (FJ queue)

Also there will be no scare zones this year. Just stands giving out free Apple juice and cupcakes. The entrance will have a ten foot tall statue of Murdy himself and his bald spot because he’s the greatest being on earth.

What do you think of this year?

This lineup blows 2016 out of the water. Best hhn lineup of all time!

EDIT: Okay seriously though Metallica Master Of Puppets maze minus Slash would be a good one though.

In the comments, murdys account is talking to the hhn account. Hes saying "You know what day it is?" And "Do you know how many hours they’re going to spend trying to figure this out?". The hhn account replies saying "About as many as I’ve spent revising the treatment for this maze in the last few days.". Based off this, seems to be a tricky maze for them to do. Might be ghostbusters, since universal monsters 2.0 shouldnt be that tricky.
