I couldn't get any photos but the paint job is definitely coming along well. The track at the tunnel area seemed to be semi-painted with some obvious unpainted spots left to finish up and the loop area looked much better.

Smooth wise? I honestly couldn't tell, the entire ride was smooth for me yesterday besides that one turn right after the 6th inversion which wasn't that bad.

He was saying for him to notice the paint change towards the end of the ride, he would have to open his eyes instead of closing them as usual. It was actually pretty funny.

Uh, the cobra roll hasn't been painted yet. The ride has always looked like that from far away.

Universal Orlando says it has begun repainting the Incredible Hulk, the once-bright-green roller coaster that dominates the skyline in the resort's Islands of Adventure theme park.

The move follows a months-long fan campaign to pressure the resort into refurbishing the popular thrill ride. There's a 66-page thread on the Orlando United theme-park website's message boards titled "The Condition of the Hulk Thread" on which fans have been bemoaning a lack of upkeep on the attraction.

Universal, which called the paint job a "long-planned refinishing project," says the work will be done at night, ensuring the ride remains open. The resorts say the painting will be finished in a few months.
