Does that mean you know what the creatures are that are grazing next to the river after we leave "hagrid's hut stable"? In the concept art they kinda look like elephants to me, but obviously those aren't magical enough...
So we're all just outside Hagrid's Hut, perhaps learning to ride a wicker hippogriff, or maybe we're by the stone stage, when something goes horribly wrong and we're all called back to Hogwarts. So we run in through the gatehouse entrance, over the bridge, and eventually into the Great Hall...
So can we talk about "Scene 4" instead of the spike? I figured we'd just be speeding up at Launch 1 and zipping super quickly through the ruins and into the hut without much time for a scene. So are we zipping super quickly past some creatures or what?
Yeah, it's the new Harry Potter Coaster that's part of Harry Potter World. It's next to The Castle Ride (or The Hogwarts Ride). It's much more of a true coaster than The Gringott's Ride.
The title is "Coaster Experience Speculation." Seems accurate. A lot of what we "know" is just speculation, isn't it? We're guessing about a lot. We know the Ford Anglia is involved, but we don't know that it's crashing, that's just a guess. Maybe it's rescuing us from something. Maybe it's just...
A Harry Potter/Wizarding World hotel would print money, but I think it's too late since they'd really want to have it connected to Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade somehow.
So is the hut going to be themed as ruins too?
As for the timeline of this ride, personally I think it makes more sense for there to just be ruins in the forest. Hogwarts is fine. It's over next to Hogsmeade. You can see it. It's the most impressive visual part of the whole land. Obviously they...
I still don't really get it. The forms seem to be straight, why couldn't they use plywood?? Did they want the ridges in the concrete that are going to be left by the hundreds of 2x4s?
Hagrid's hut almost burns down in book 6, but it never changes location or shape in the books. In the movies the hut location and shape changes after the first 2 films, which I assume is what this image is referring to.
Me, on this ride: "Wait, how can that be the bridge to Hogwarts? Hogwarts is way over thereeeaaaaahhhhhh"
So sort of like a cross between the German and Spanish Quidditch World Cup Pitches? (images are from a terrible EA Quidditch World Cup game from years ago.)
So the important question is once we're inside Hagrid's hut (with AA Hagrid??) which creature (another AA??) is it that "goes horribly wrong" and speeds us on our way? Presumably it's not Fluffy since Fluffy is later. Norbert?
Also, as has been mentioned, the Owlery. However I hope the queue building is the Owlery, since that'd explain why there's a second "castle" near Hogwarts.
Is it possible that there's an AA on the bike portion and we're only riding in the sidecar? Or that the bike just stays empty?
Also, if we're supposed to be riding in Hagrid's sidecar, is it possible there is no train of them? Just spaced out sidecars almost giving the illusion of there being...
