Universal Orlando Resort Expansion (Part 1)

Right, that was the thought behind my posts... It would be awful. Here in TN they are exploring light rail (finally), and most rail infrastructure is easiest around preexisting state and interstate highways. It also avoids making local businesses mad when you add rapid transit that goes by...

Universal Orlando Resort Expansion (Part 1)

Interesting! Didn't know that was something they were conscientious of in the turnpike design process. I meant either for a direct entrance to a transportation hub, or an elevated transit system that swings out there that avoids the more direct roads (resulting in a lot less restrictions for...

Universal Orlando Resort Expansion (Part 1)

Universal Resort Expansion? | Page 224 | Inside Universal Forums The green/yellow on this image that leads up to the turnpike. 1/2 mile is fine, but Universal has been working the past few years to get easier access from I4 to the resort. Using Sand Lake and Kirkman as entry roads seems far...

Universal Orlando Resort Expansion (Part 1)

Do you all think getting this expansion land to extend to the Turnpike is a priority? Gotta think easy access to a highway makes that north east property attractive.

    Universal's Cinematic Celebration Night Show

Are drones completely out of the question for this show? I know Disney tested with that Springs Christmas show, but I'm curious if that could be a direction.

The Future of Lost Continent (Poseidon Fury closing May 9)

I'm really curious how a complete overhaul of this land would work in terms of walking paths. Hogsmeade has the bypass and Kong was just on one side of the path, so there's no precedent for this situation. I guess that means a central path would stay through construction?

    Sapphire Falls Resort

That's fair, just considering all available options. Personally, I like avoiding the hub with all that mess happening there, so I typically won't ride the bus unless it's back to CB.

    Sapphire Falls Resort

I'm wondering how feasible/worthwhile it'll be to use the Sapphire Falls water taxi when I'm staying at Cabana Bay. Certainly would be an upgrade from the bus and it doesn't look like too bad of a walk.

    No Water from Freestyle Machines

Awesome! I'm glad they're doing that for TMs. When they installed them on my undergrad's campus, it made it so much easier to choose to drink water rather than something else. It's a good health investment on Universal's part even if it never hits the public. But....maybe this backlash will...

    No Water from Freestyle Machines

It would be nice if they put in water fountains around the park like the one I posted below. It would certainly limit their water bottle sales, but it would solve this problem easily. It's not a super expensive upgrade, and they don't require a lot of maintenance.

HHN 26: Ticket, RIP Tours, and Pass Information

There won't be an AP discount on RoF or FFP, correct?

    The State of Epcot

I found that when I was trying not to spend money, there wasn't a lot for me on my trip last month. I went around 5:30p after a day at DAK and knocked out a good chunk of the attractions + eating dinner by the time Illuminations started. Hoping they can fill more out in the Future World part of...

    Hey everyone!

Hey y'all! Long-time listener of the podcast and lurker. Figured I'd jump in and make an account finally! I'm glad to have another tool to distract myself from life responsibilities.
