Theme Parks, while still amusement parks at their core, are a notch above regional parks. This thread is talking about Theme parks and by all accounts this year kinda sucks for the major players. It just so happens that the only true "theme parks" in the country are in the Orlando and Los Angeles area.
Well on the surface and based on those words alone you originally quoted, then yes.
Unless you are meaning that how Orlando as a market focuses on the parks more than real news. I would agree there as well, but who cares. It's never really a "bad year" for theme parks, though... even if the premise of the additions being stinkers in Orlando in 2018 is accurate.
That's sort of the point of the point someone made on the previous page. Great year for coasters, meh year for additions in Orlando and Hollywood/Anaheim.
