Sea World needs to come out and outright cancel the event for the year. As it is right now, it's a constant stream of negative press against them right now and there can't be many bands left for this thing anyway.

Unfortunately, I completely agree. It is the only way to stop the major bleeding every other day. The screamscrape post about .38 special from this morning before they officially cancelled sounded pretty bad. People harassing them on their facebook page and complete disrespect. Its a real shame.

Seaworld should come out and say "We hear the voices of some .We will use the proceeds of Bands, Brew and BBQ 2014 to build bigger tanks" .These animals cannot be released into the wild.
We only try to do our best to care for these animals.
"Would the artists who quit be willing to donate their time (and/or money) for this worthy cause".

Should have done that after the second or third act dropped out. Pretty clear they have a single A public relations department trying to play in the big leagues. Now when they do, it will be an even bigger story, make it look like they are admitting they are in the wrong. (Not saying they are or are not, just that it looks horrible for them.)

SeaWorld should just go ape**** on the Hollywood media and expose them for their hypocrisy. Instead of constantly being on the defense they should start saying how terrible Willie Nelson is for playing a fair circuit that packs up live animals and ships them out like UPS packages. They should also start declining certain acts that they feel support animal cruelty. It takes two to tango - problem right now is that those on the offensive know that SeaWorld's family friendly attitude wont retaliate against them for the **** they say.

TMZ SeaWorld poll, with nearly 130,000 votes, 57% for Shut it Down, 43% for I Like It.

I'm perfectly okay with banning anyone who voted in that poll from Sea World... Or any other park for that matter. Worthless reporting.

Ralphie May was on the radio yesterday morning and was asked if he was one of the performers if he would cancel his date. He said something along the lines of the bands all knew exactly what Sea World was before they ever signed on to play, and that they should have some understanding that the Orcas were not indigenous creatures to Orlando.

Thought it was a cool to hear someone actually take a stand for Sea World and say that they should honor their contract and the show should go on.
