Bruce Vaughn Leaves as Head of WDI, Bob Weiss Succeeds

Late breaking Friday news, Bruce Vaughn is to leave WDI with Bob Weiss to succeed as the head of WDI. Bruce is best known as answering the question about The Wizarding World's quality compared to WDI's output "no one can touch us". Bob headed the original Disney-MGM Studios project, the DCA 2.0 make-over, and now Shanghai Disneyland.

In personal thinking,

wouldn't it be ironic that in some way, Bruce Vaughn transitions from WDI to UC? Just personally thinking, as it'd..be quite the interesting event if that happens, yes. Especially since Jason Surrell is at UC now.

Either way, I am extremely happy for WDI now, especially for a creative lead like him, I can't wait to see what he does with WDI.

I agree. Every posting I ever read about Vaughn on the Disney oriented sites, dissed him. Looks like a real upgrade.
