The only downside to the whole thing is in the lack of transprency by Universal. Been talking a bit of it to friends and colleagues, and it seems perplexing that Universal has continued to be silent of the scope of the closures and changes upcoming.
I have to wonder in the month or two ahead, if we might see an attempt at a June 2016 announcement again, but this time in place of CityWalk Hollywood, the security hubs, and the hotel. This seems to be lining up to be the next massive project for the property in revitalizing CityWalk; and it'd be great to have an element of transprency at play (even if the hotel is a few years off).
