I've never see puddles of vomit in any Orlando park. And I would imagine it would be cleaned up in less than 2 minutes if so.

What universal has there is a creek running through Springfield, poor planning.

I have seen it at Uni, outside of one of the counter service restaurants. A kid threw up coming out of the place, and yes, workers as soon as they saw it blocked the area and got it cleaned up. It happens. I have seen things at Disney and just like Uni as soon as it is either reported to a worker or a worker sees it, it is cleaned up. They just can't have workers at every single place at all times, so sometimes it is just bad timing by the person that sees it, because no worker knows about it yet. But it does happen at all the parks. Also, sometimes they are short staffed in a particular area because an employee called off at the last minute. This also causes things to be slower and I have seen bathroom issues at both parks because of this. Normally Disney and Uni keeps there bathrooms very clean, but sometimes things just happen.

Today I saw these pictures. This is unacceptable. They are building better things but they have to refresh what they already have. Even if that means painting every month.

These tiles are discolored (and garbage on the floor)

By looking at these 3 pictures, you wouldn't think this is a world class theme park that is about to be bombarded with millions of guest these next couple of months.

Ummm, can you credit my pic next time you use it?

How was I supposed to know it was you. They already have watermarks so its implied that they aren't mine but from OTPN.

Guys, those were BusyBees pictures.

Ohh, okay. Sorry. Thanks for the picture. Was this the only water feature that was filthy?

No the entire area is pretty dirty. With that being said though, I have seen them slowly replacing things and cleaning things in the area.

Lol I have a funny story about vomit at Disney. I was in the preshow room for dinosaur and a kid in front of me threw up all over the carpet. Everybody in the room was so freaked out that they couldn't pay attention to the pre show video. Almost immediately around 5 custodians came rushing out like somebody was dying and immediately started scrubbing the carpet. Everybody in that preshow room (besides the kid) went on into the ride while the everybody past the pre show room had to wait until they were done cleaning. I came back to ride dinosaur again later that day (desperate times at animal kingdom) and the stain from the vomit was still there. Point is disney can't help if a guest vomits all over the floor but they will sure as hell try to stop it

Technically it's to the right of the ride. It's to the left when going at the building.

My son vomited many times at Disney. Most of the times it was contained to being on one of us or in his stroller. But there was a few times it was on a ride. The employees always cleaned it up right away when we stepped off a ride. I always felt bad when the employees had to clean it up, but they never even said a word to us. Basically just had us leave the ride and that was it. They were really nice about it. When my son was on formula he would vomit 6 or more times a day, so it was going to happen somewhere :)

I had honestly forgotten all about it until you said Dino ride. Because he threw up in the show room for the energy ride at Epcot. We had these disposable medical pads under him a lot, so it just went on that and we cleaned him up right away and got him back in his stroller before the pre-show was even done.

Yeah that was one thing I remembered, the cast members were really cheery about the entire thing and it was really sweet. "Oh no it's ok!!! The exit is right there, everybody else go on the ride it's fine" all with a smile on their face. You know walking around in the Florida sun after eating tons of junk food can really mess up your stomach and especially for medical emergencies like yours, they must prepare for a ton of vomit everyday and it's nice that the cast members aren't so annoyed by it

Kids puke all day at Disney...all cast members are so used to it they just grab the Voban and sprinkle it on the vomit and call Custodial to clean it up.

I was with EpcotServo at IoA once walking between Potter and Marvel and saw a kid being dragged, puking, with his parents then putting his face in the bushes. Then we heard some guy in Port of Entry play electric pan flute rendition of the Spider-man theme.

This is a cool thread. I will say that I've encountered poor general maintenance/cleanliness at all 3 parks(Universal, Disney, Busch) on various occasions. But they all do a pretty damn good job for keeping a massive theme park maintained for 365 days a year. You want unacceptable? Visit any Six Flags park.

With that said, I will say that the Monsters Cafe is probably the most filthiest theme park restaurant I've ever been. Of the few times I've eaten there, every single time I've encountered roaches. Disgusting.

" every single time I've encountered roaches"

I thought they were part of the theme.

Actually, I got a photo of it fixed when I was there the day after Easter. I should have posted it but didn't think anyone would care...
