@MickeyWaffle06 I wrote four haunted house concepts that you want and might want for Horror Nights. One is my very own take of Sweeney Todd, one is my take of doing a New Orleans themed house with Jazz music and Voodoo that takes place during the Roaring Twenties, and the last two aren’t really a Scary Tales sequel but I consider them as spin-offs.

My idea (and also my biggest dream house) is a Scary Tales-folklore hybrid type of house inspired by the Jungle Book. I went with this cause I personally felt the Wizard of Oz is too much of an easy call, and Orlando’s A&D team are pretty much done with Alice after Asylum In Wonderland, which m...

Don’t know if I could spin my own thread on this, so I’m writing it here.

For fans of HHN; what if you had the chance to do a “Final Mix” of a year you attended or a year you would have loved to attend? What would you do?

I’ll note for any of these “HHN: Final Mix” ideas of mine, I never went to a HHN, and sometimes I straddle the line from being realistic to doing whatever for the heck of it.

Final Mix idea coming soon.

HHN (2006) Hollywood: Final Mix

(lazy edition)

  • The Director would be far more prominent in-park than he was in the original 2006 year. Either the Director would be posing as a statue in the gates (like Freddy and Ghostface), or there would be a screen laid overhead as guests walk through to the zombie scarezone, the screen showing the Director himself monologuing. Voiceovers from him playing on the speakers and projections of him or his “movies” in the park. Cameos in the houses (like in the Van Helsing maze, he takes the place of the Dracula statue where he “films” guests).
  • Leave it unannounced that the Van Helsing maze was converted into a “House of Horrors” with movie characters as to surpri

Just got my newest, weirdest, and trippiest concept done that is a Psychedelic themed house inspired by the original 1969 Woodstock and the annual Burning Man art festival, taking place at Bethel, New York on the exact year the historical event happened for my themed event concept of Halloween Horror Nights: Face The Music. I hope you guys enjoy this!

After almost three weeks in the making, my take of Little Shop of Horrors as a haunted house concept is now complete. It has the best of the Broadway show, the best of the Frank Oz movie, and some humor I’ve incorporated that fits well for this, adding some Easter Eggs and some characters mentioned from the Halloween Horror Nights lore (including one bit from my alternate universe of the event). Come on in! But always remember this: Don’t Feed The Plants.

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET HOME SWEET HELL (AU 2008) TREATMENT

Facade

At the end of the queue line, you see in front of you the famous 1428 Elm Street House from the NIGHTMARE series. It’s recreated identically to the one shown in NIGHTMARES 3-5; dilapidated, run-down with boards covering the windows, and a blue-ish paranormal glow emanating from the slits. The giggles of children mingle with the screams of FREDDY’S victims. FREDDY speaks “You can check in, but you can’t check out.” and with that you and your group are led into the house from hell.

Foyer

Passing through the door, you push through a narrow hallway barely decorated. Then you pass and find yourself in the exact same hallway again, but with the sound of FREDDY scraping the walls with his finger knife glove piercing your ears from all directions. Then you pass through the same hallway again for the third time, but this time FREDDY KRUEGER finally reveals himself behind a scrim wall effect.

Finally exiting that damned hallway, that’s when things get slightly trippy. The whole foyer is bigger than it’s supposed to be, making you feel like you’ve shrunk in size. The sound of wheels ring from above, and as you pass the stairway, a “gigantic” bicycle almost crashed into you! (Listen closely and you hear the sound of goo as it falls down the stairs, a audio reference to the goo stairs from the first NIGHTMARE.)

Living Room

The living room is only illuminated by the television set, playing the Evil Dead. This is used for either one of the two scares described:

SCENE A- FREDDY pops out from behind the couch to slash at you.

SCENE B- The couch itself lunges at you with a roar.

Kitchen

Technically it’s in normal size, but with the space of it it’s more like a restaurant kitchen. The cabinets are filled with vials of embalming fluids and blood samples, the pans and pots searing and boiling with severed human body parts; raw human meat laying on a rack. A severed head is seen turning inside a microwave. The oven springs open to reveal a WARPED GINGERBREAD MAN bursting at you with the smoke. At the end, DEBBIE THE ROACH GIRL from the fourth NIGHTMARE cries for help.

(The Pizza of Souls is seen as an Easter Egg)

Dinner Room

Here, FREDDY KRUEGER and his party guests happily feast on the cannibalistic delights. FREDDY digs his claw into GRETA’S stomach and force feeds GRETA her own innards. You disturbed by the horrifying scene leaving you unaware of the GIANT DEMONIC HOG puppet that roars at you on your left.

Bedroom

Once again, you find that the dimensions have shifted. The bedroom is seemingly giant sized, decorated with an antique mirror, toys on the floor, and of course the mattress itself. As you walk through, a baby stroller glides through as if pushed by an invisible being. The stroller looks a lot more darker and spiky than any normal stroller; it is in fact the same demon baby carriage from the fifth NIGHTMARE. FREDDY’S claw swipes from the stroller (either a hidden actor or a mechanical puppet).

The following scene is either:

SCENE A- You go underneath the bed itself, the corridor stimulating the dirty and grimy underneath, with giant bags of garbage laying. HUMAN-FACED DOGS AND GIANT DEMONIC RATS from the second NIGHTMARE movie charge at you from the darkness.

SCENE B- The bed is broken, it’s hinges cracked, the mattress on the floor. This gives you chance to slide under the covers. There you push yourselves through corridors of sheets illuminated by moonlight blue. The LOST SOULS claimed by FREDDY push through the walls begging for help in muffled cries. At the end, FREDDY’S claw slashes through a sheet wall, creating a red glow.

Bathroom and Shower Room

Escaping from the bedroom, the bathroom is surprisingly well-lit and clean, though sparsely decorated. The water in the faucet is running hot, with mist in the air as a result. The lights start to flicker, and FREDDY’S razor knife glove slashes through the mirror, creating sparks as it does so.

Then, you come across the shower door where someone is bathing. The sheets are pulled down to reveal SHOWER FREDDY, a full frontal long haired version of the nightmare demon. He gives the line “How’s this for a wet dream?!”

Attic

After a short transition hallway with screens projecting stairs going in all directions (like the scene in WDW’s Haunted Mansion), again the dimensions are all whack. The attic, which is filled with antique items and ELM STREET memorabilia, by itself isn’t abnormal, but there are several oversized children’s toys strung about. A nursery rhyme can be heard, along with a music box tune, but they seem to be broken. Suddenly you are ambushed by the NIGHTMARE MINIONS, some lunging from the air via bungee. Along with a hanged man.

Basement

Another transition hallway with the bizarre staircases leads you into the basement of the house- or more accurately the boiler room. Giant pipes and other machinery hiss smoke and fire, the lighting of the scene bathed in red and orange. Trinkets from FREDDY’S victims hang in various places. Speaking of victims, CHARRED VICTIMS burned to the core charge at you from hidden alcoves, some in a deranged state, others pleading. However FREDDY himself pops out and takes one victim with him back into the furnace (this may be used for a elaborate kill scene).

Garden

Going out the basement door, you enter the garden. The dimensions make this more like a giant conservatory. Mirrors help give the illusion of this garden being wider in depth, along with dimly lit matte paintings. The garden is full of plants and other greenery, but some not only look huge but some seem… off. Animatronics and puppets conveying GIANT VENUS FLYTRAPS, HARLEQUIN-HEAD FLOWERS are used to great effect, and there are a few VICTIMS stumbling about with cuts on their faces and eyeballs missing, and the walls decorated with bloody thorns.

The setting morphs into a dark jungle-like setting, the hissing and growling of wild animals permeating your ears, the pathway dark and hard to see. At the end, another puppet conveying SNAKE FREDDY from the third NIGHTMARE film (with green goo and all) either bites at you or is eating a girl whole.

Garage

Finally, you make it into the garage, which while dimly lit seems normal. However you are led into a hallway of boarded up walls, where in the holes fully-sized cars honk and almost crash through from nowhere from in different angles from above. The room morphs again into something akin to an abandoned junkyard. SKELETON FREDDY jumps out from the ground itself to swipe at you and at an unfortunate VICTIM. The impaled body of NANCY’S FATHER is on display. A giant version of FREDDY KRUEGER bursts from a mist projection of the moon for one last scare.

Though this was expected for a few years, but as someone who wrote a Willy Wonka haunted house concept, I’m really glad that it came true in some fashion.

It probably took me more or less than a month to finish this after all the hard work and constant delays, but all the time has paid off well for me. I’m getting the feeling that I’m somewhat doing better at writing organically. To represent the country genre for my themed event idea of Halloween Horror Nights: Face The Music, here’s a full haunted house concept of The Darkest Deal sequel called The Darkest Bet. Unlike one of last year’s houses that was based on the Robert Johnson lore, this is inspired by Charlie Daniels’ “The Devil Went Down To Georgia.” I went all out on the rural southern theme that is unapologetically the most the redneck concept I’ve ever written. Hope you guys enjoy this newest piece, and I wanna thank everyone for reading this. Got some plans to work on the next house.

Wasn’t aware how long it took me to finish, but it’s finally done. This is my take of a Beatles-themed comedy haunted house as a concept based on “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer” from Abbey Road that tells a story about a student who spontaneously commits gruesome murder, which is arguably their most disturbing song ever. Thematically and also humorously, this is also my most British effort with the inclusion of several nods to Monty Python. I hope you guys enjoy this new piece of mine, and thank you for having the time to read this.

Thinking on it. Hollywood style:

Theme: Come one, come all! (Shared)
Icon's: Hollywood Harry, Jack The Clown

Premise: As Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort prepare to unravel their largest event to date, it is thwarted by that of the arrival on both coasts: of crazed sensation Hollywood Harry, and the face of Halloween Horror Nights--Jack The Clown. Seeing eachother for the first time, the two lock it out to determine who's fit to lead the carnival once and for all.

Houses (Upper)
H1: Chucky's Funhouse - Step right up, step right up. From the Valentine collection, she brings to you that of the Good Guys! Come and tour into the new Good Guy showcase, and find out that not all is as it seems. From within this exhibition lies a sinister truth. Will you meet your friend to the end? (Location: TWDA)
H2: Spirits & Demons of The East - Deep within the carnival, comes a museum home to the wealth and history from famous Asian legends. Come face to face with legends you never thought were possible, and escape before you are claimed into their collective embrace. (Location: Parisian)

Houses (Lower)
H3: Friday The 13th: Hunter's Game - Rising from the depths of Camp Crystal Lake: Jason lives! Come face to face as you try to navigate the return of a true classic. (Location: JW Overflow)
H4: Psychoscarepy: The Carnival's Game - Deep within the mental institution known as Hillbrook, Jack and Harry are confined to a game of hate and anger. One night, the power goes out, and in doing so the compound becomes loose. Watch as war breaks out, to see who's the clown that stands supreme. Is it Jack? Is it Harry? You'll have to find out yourself. (Location: SS16)
H5: Universal Monsters Curtain Call 3D - Within the Carnival Theater, come face to face as The Invisible Man wishes to spun a tale, of a conflict revolving the protection of a place that is clashed by that of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and The Phantom of The Opera. As the Invisible Man's story is told, what unravels in this opaque world? ((Location: Mummy))
H6: Candyman - Step face to face as you are told the story, of The Candyman. Who is The Candyman? Within these tales become enveloped in their tales, for you can't escape him, once you say his name five times. This house is a tribute to the original 1992 classic and the 2021 cult hit. Care to be his victim? (Location: SS17)

Houses (CG)
H7: Stranger Things 4 - Return to Hawkins. Experience the return of Stranger Things, as this sideshow recounts to you the story of Vecna, and the path of destruction he seeks to bring to all. (Location: CG1)
H8: El Cucuy - Do you remember when you were afraid of the dark… the possibility that some horrible creature may be hiding in your closet or under your bed? People call him the Boogeyman, but in Mexico, he's known as "El Cucuy." Some say he's a shadow, an evil spirit that changes form to become whatever you fear. Some say he's a hideous monster that lives in the caves. But it's all just a myth, right? Or is it? (Location: CG2)

Terror Tram: RUN
Premise: As the war breaks out of the wards of Hillbrook, the carnival takes form completely to the Universal Backlot. For the war does not stop in one place. The war will be everywhere, as your prize to complete this game is simple. Your life!

Scarezones:
Sideshow Slaugherhouse (Location: Front gate)
Carnival of Carnage (Location: New York Street)
The Collective (Location: French Street)

Shows:
Jabbawockeez (Location: Universal Plaza, bleacher seating and new show configuration
Chucky's Cinematic Slashtacular (Location: DWT. Projection show shared with Lagoon, but entirely indoors as just the projections.)

Headliners: Jack, Chucky, Jason, and Vecna.

Good question: Why did I have Jack for a Hollywood event?

Merchandising.

You legit called Chucky, Stranger Things and a Monsters house starring Phantom, Hunchback and Invisible Man a year before it ultimately happened.. even before we got the surprise mic-drop of Chucky on the final night of the event..:eek::eek:

I can’t wait for y’all to cry in happiness cause I’ve just got my newest haunted house concept done, and this time, it’s based on the music video of Micheal Jackson’s “Thriller” from the best-selling album of all time. This one took me a good amount of time to put together cause I wanted to make sure that it isn’t too much of a simple book report by taking some inspirations from his hometown Gary, Indiana and adding some Easter Eggs as a homage to the entire Jackson family. I think that if Micheal were alive now, he’d be really impressed with my newest work, and also be open to turn this idea into a reality at the Universal theme parks for Halloween Horror Nights. I hope you guys enjoy my newest piece. Micheal Jackson’s Thriller

Taking a break with the music theme right now, but I recently got my newest haunted house concept done that was requested by one of my buds from Discord to amp up his idea about a kid named Evan Harley who had enough of being treated cruelly by his abusive parents, as he kills them for revenge. However, he is at his deepest state of the madness that made him who he is forever. The actual creator of this concept was inspired by how people have bad days, especially when they have bad relationships. The descriptions of the rooms are also based on his actual home in Sacramento, California while the facade itself is based on another home that I once discovered while I was Googling online. I hope you guys enjoy this! Gonna give myself a break for the rest of the month, then I’ll do the next request.

Alright I finally watched Gremlins. While it would be a much better comedy house than Ghostbusters or Beetlejuice, I doubt they could get away with

playing Snow White...

It's been two years, Ima give another shot at my idea for a Dead by Daylight house.

Dead by Daylight (Location: Soundstage 24A (Dueling Dragons/Insidious))

Prelude/Facade

As guests make their way down the black curtain corridor, they will hear the main theme of DbD playing, signifying their descent into the Entity's Realm. As they turn the corner, the theme transitions into the killer version, with the MacMillan Estate Coal Tower awaiting us, the sound of screams echoing from inside. We have no choice but to step forward and begin our Trial.

Scene 1: MacMillan Estate (Coal Tower)
We enter the cold building, the smell of iron and coal immediately hitting us. On the floor screaming, caught in a beartrap, is Dwight, begging for us to run. Alas, it's just a distraction, as the Trapper comes swinging around a corner to strike at us! We quickly dodge and continue on towards a crumbled wall, a generator and suspicious-looking locker on either side. We anxiously wait for someone to burst out of the locker, only for the generator to explode and make a loud noise, scaring us out of the tower.

Scene 2: Autohaven Wreckers (Gas Heaven)
Stepping out of the tower, we find ourselves at a rundown gas station, bells chiming in the distance. Using clever lighting and mirrors, we hear the bell chime again and watch as seemingly out of nowhere, the Wraith appears before us. We try to get away towards a broken bus, only to side step out upon having our path blocked by a pallet, with Meg pre-emptively dropping it, afraid we were the Wraith. With no other choice, we step into a stain-glassed building.

Scene 3: Crotus Prenn Asylum (Father Campbell's Chapel)
Entering the building, we find ourselves in an abandoned chapel that seemingly goes on forever. To our right, we see Jake Park shushing us to be quiet, only to hear a screech as the Nurse suddenly appears and grabs him by the throat, choking him out, before looking towards us. Not wanting to stick around, we make our way down the aisle, with covered sheets in the seats. We finally reach the end of the aisle, but using another mirror trick, the Nurse (on a bungee cord) lunges at us, almost as if we're watching her teleport toward us in real time. We quickly round the corner to escape her wrath, leaving the chapel.

Scene 4: Coldwind Farms (Rotting Fields)
The scariest thing about this scene? We're now in a cornfield. The second scariest thing though is that we hear the sound of a chainsaw revving, followed by a roar as the Hillbilly lunges at us through the corn with his chainsaw, sending us running through. However, as we all know, running leaves behind red scratch marks for the killer to track us, and so the Hillbilly easily catches up just as we think we lost him, giving us another scare from the corn, sending us out of the field and into another building.

Scene 5: Lery's Memorial Institute
This is the simplest scene in the house, as we find ourselves in a laboratory with electricity cracking, and the disturbing laughs of the Doctor surrounding us. Strobe and a constant red light above us keeps us anxious, as we round about a room full of Doctor mannequins, unable to tell which are hallucination and which is the real killer. Of course, one of them is real and strikes at us with his creepy laugh. We make our way through a door with snow beginning to pile at the bottom.

Scene 6: Mount Ormond Resort
In the cold snowy fields of Mount Ormond, the Legion strikes at us from all angles with Frank, Julie and Susie giving us a good triple scare at a snowmobile, sending us running towards the lodge. We think we've escaped them, but wait, isn't there one missing?- SWING! Joey, the hesitant one of the group, tries to finish the kill with a sneak attack, but we escape into the lodge.

Scene 7: Red Forest (Mother's Dwelling)
We enter the lodge, yet it isn't the Mount Ormond ski resort. Rather, the interior is much more that of a small, forest cabin, the fireplace lit and a small hum coming from it. Wait, fireplaces don't make a singing hum? Oh no. An air spray blasts us as a light suddenly shines on an axe in the wall, like it was just thrown, barely missing our heads. We quickly try to escape, before being attacked by the Huntress on our way out.

Scene 8: Yamaoka Estate (Family Residence)
The shouts and cries of anger, battle and death surround us as we enter the bloody chambers of this Japanese residence. Those roars get louder as the Oni comes charging around a corner with his club raised above his head, ready to strike us down, and the cries become equally loud when the Spirit comes in from the other side, giving us a double scare between the first and last of a bloodline. We quickly make our leave.

Scene 9: Withered Isle (Greenville Square)
Inside this movie theater lobby, lockers surround us everywhere, with Sable Ward clearly scared yet still trying to help us escape, she knows we're almost to freedom. Each locker violently shakes with the sound of scratching behind its door, as the Dredge breaks out of one, trying to absorb us. At the end of the scene, the Dredge manifests again around a corner, leading us into the finale.

Scene 10: The Basement
Blood-red room, with four hooks at its center, each having a survivor hung on them, and the Entity's spider claws reaching down from above to consume these poor souls. Of course, this only serves as a distraction, as four killers who didn't get their own scene (Knight, Clown, Unknown and the Hag) attack from all sides, giving us a quadruple scare as we finally escape the Entity's Realm, and we see the large open soundstage door to the outside. Just before we leave though, the Blight gives us one last scare on our way out, having finally caught up to us.

@HHN Maddux Have you ever thought of adding a description, a codename, and a playlist of songs that relates to the house’s theme for the queue line? That’s one of the things I always do when I write concepts.

The business collaboration of the century is coming this fall, as Major Sweets Candy and Meetz Meats will be joining forces to deliver you top-of-the-line food products for you meats and sweets lovers alike!

Look forward to state-of-the-art food the likes of which you have never before laid eyes upon, that will satisfy both your sweet tooth and the carnivore within!(Major Sweets Candy and Meetz Meats not responsible for loss or death of parental figures.)

HOUSE #2:
Cleaver & the Triplets

Location: Sprung Tent 2

SYNOPSIS (Triplets/Meetz Meats crossover):
Going back to their home state of Ohio, the Barmy Triplets are preparing to finish off their latest birthday bash in the town of Carey, picking the Meetz Meats processing plant/factory as their spot for cutting the cake and unwrapping gifts. Upon arrival, however, they discover that Sam Meetz has a different plan: A demonstration of what happens to unauthorized visitors.

Who will win in this bloody clashing of saws and blades? Either way, you're on the menu for tonight.

Okay. Before I give out my ambitious Lineup. I decided to make a code name game out of it. I will list off the Codenames of each house, and YOU have to guess what those houses could be. If you guess correctly. I will post the name of the house in my next post. All the Codenames are themed to “Art Supplies.” Ready? Here we Go:

1.) “BRUSH” (Original)

2.) “PENCIL” (I.P)

3.) “SPONGE” (I.P)

4.) “THINNER” (Original)

5.) “PALETTE” (I.P)

6.) “KNIFE” (I.P)

7.) “CLAY” (I.P)

8.) “SPRAY CAN” (Original)

9.) “PAPER” (Original)

10.) “PAINT” (Original)
