The fire has been extinguished, and no injuries were reported immediately: http://ktla.com/2015/02/28/firefighters-extinguish-fire-near-disneylands-its-a-small-world-attraction/

Apparently a tree was incinerated and a small part of the facade received burn marks which is absolutely convenient considering they are in the middle of refurbishing the facade. Wonderful to see nobody was harmed and the ride is 100% okay.

I'm just happy it didn't get out of control and didn't spread to the entire facade, let alone the whole show building, that was so lucky. Because if the wind whipped the fire a bit more, the flame could've spread.

Definitely lucky they were refurbing the facade anyway.

Basically they denied the idea of a third park...I understand they cant publicly comment but still.

They noted in the Shareholders Meeting that expansions are planned for both the gates but no Third park. It makes sense.

They'll 100% do a 3rd park eventually, just not right away. Which is understandable. Don't wanna do what WDW did, where it sometimes feels like they can't handle their massive scale. DL and DCA have some great areas where they can expand first. They first have to tackle the issue of parking, which has been a nightmare, as well as other logistics.

I predict that we'll see real rumblings of a 3rd park AFTER:

1. They fix and expand Tomorrowland

2. Fix Hollywoodland

3. Expand Fantasyland (Frozen, etc)

4. They add more Star Wars and Marvel

5. They add one or two more hotels

6. Acquire GardenWalk

7. Add more parking

8. Figure out a convenient way between the Esplanade and the 3rd park.

So basically, a 3rd park isn't in the plans right NOW, as there are other plans for the existing two parks. But there will 100% be a 3rd park in the future.

Iger didn't completely deny the possibility of a third park ever coming to fruition. He simply stated that their focus is currently on an expansion to the Disneyland Park.

I hope if they do one day take over Garden Walk that they keep Fire + Ice. I adore that place.

I've only visited Garden Walk once, and it was incredibly eerie. Very deserted, and felt like there were 5 shops at most.. I'd be glad to see Disney eventually take over that space.

Hat Box Ghost finally confirmed to be returning to the Haunted Mansion in May! Also, can't wait for the updated Matterhorn and Peter Pan! I hope Snow White, Pinocchio and Mr Toad eventually get the same upgrades!

I'm so excited to see all the new upgrades especially the Hatbox Ghost! Also from all the screenshots coming from the Mattercam, World of Color: Celebrate is shaping up as well!

They are redoing most of the effects and apparently redoing the AA's of the snowman himself.

I'm excited very much for the 60th. Sure, its not new rides but its redone attractions (Matterhorn/Pan), new shows (PtN, WOCC, DLF), the return of a urban icon (Ol Hattie), and more. I think its great for a 60th; even with no attraction added.

I think once the 60th is over, then they'll turn their attention to the big stuff. Surely Universal has been poking the giant enough to finally wake him up eventually.

They 100% will start incorporating more Star Wars and Marvel into the parks after the 60th. They have a lot of things planned.

^I fully realize. It just sucks that we'll have to wait so long for them. I'm sure we won't see SW land until at least 2020.

Yeah it sucks to wait, but there's a lot of planning and hoops to jump through before they can green light a project or start incorporating it. You'll 99% see a project or two green lit later this summer ;)
