It hasn't been specified of that--only that it isn't part of the Reevesverse.

With Creature Commandos already debuting the DCU through animation, I think there could be a possibility that this is part of the DCU as the first "Theatrical" animated film for the Universe.

When Gunn first announced the DCU, he mentioned there would be a subsection called DC Elseworlds for DC content not connected to the DCU. Could DD be part of that?
