This may be a dumb question, when I purchase a 1 day ticket next week will that be for a pass holder preview pre May 22 or when the park opens? If so will I be able to choose the dates ?

It's for once the park is officially open. We'll get more info on the AP previews at a later date.

As someone who is out-of-town and aiming to be there on opening day, it’s probably a bad idea to buy a UOAP for the pre-sale opportunity, right? I don’t want to book Helios but I suppose I can if I have to.

EDIT: Oh wait you have to activate it duh

Yeah, I'm pretty okay with this. Out-of-towner, so Orlando trips are UOAP and maybe two side trips to WDW parks or Sea World, LegoLand, Or BuschGardens.

This seems like a good way to keep crowds down, and it is just like one of those side trips to AP holders like us.

And I'll be buying day tickets on 10/22, something that non-APs cannot do.

Cheers Uni!

I wonder since one day tickets will be date specific, will we see them get snapped up and resold at ridiculous prices?

I could see opening day tickets north of $1000 as resales.

I just got an email from attraction tickets (which a lot of Europeans would buy tickets on) and it is showing that from next week, they will be selling their 3 park explorer tickets (14 day access to universal, islands and volcano bay) with the option to add on one day at Epic Universe

So here's something I'm curious about.

Passholders can purchase a "single day add-on ticket" .. add-on to what? To your pass?

So if I purchase a single day now, and my pass expires in December.. can I still use the ticket? lol

I asked this question, and yes, you can.

The single day ticket is being added on to the barcode for your AP. Even if it is expired when it is time to go to Epic, you still show your expired AP to get in, because they’ve just attached your Epic ticket to that barcode.

For the 3-day ticket, could I buy two 3-day ticket packages and then have my 2 days at Epic?

My AP expires in a month but looking to go in August. If I buy a one day ticket, and later they offer 2 day tickets, I assume I will be able to put the value of the one day towards the 2 day? That seems to be standard procedure.

Thinking I want to buy a ticket now as just to guarantee something for August.

I'd verify before doing that actually, as I think it's considered more of an add-on feature to the pass rather than a standalone ticket.

Given everything being so new and they're doing limited offerings, I wouldn't bank on them heavily modifying Epic tickets.

Remember these are tickets to the all-new park. They're primarily focused on selling the 3+ day tickets and packages through agents. No further details are out yet by design because they want to see how demand is looking and don't want to fully cannibalize the other parks.

I'm definitely planning on visiting next year, but I'm waiting until I see a package that I'd be 100% ok using without modification. Ideally, I'd want 2 days.

I wouldn't see why this wouldn't be possible

I don't see any fine print preventing that.

Who’s shooting for day 1? It’s looking like I’ll be by myself in this when it comes to the group I usually go with so maybe we can have some kind of meetup lol

I heard a rumor that single night tickets closer to opening day will be divided out using a raffle system, can anyone confirm?

I think Universal would be happy if someone wants to spend $700+ on two days of admission to Epic! :D You know, now I think of it the LLPP at MK starting at $330 might be too low...

Wow, I'm never this lucky! My current AP expires October 25th!

We'll buy tickets before they expire, but really up in the air whether we renew or let them expire and re-up next year before our trip. We always go the last week of September for HHN, but sometimes decide for another trip randomly throughout the year. Does anyone have advice? I'm torn between renewing for the 20% off versus letting it expire and not wasting the months from October 26th until we go next year. Thoughts?

Kind of in same boat as my AP expires Nov 11. However thinking I may renew in hopes of passholder previews. Both hubs and daughter have active AP that expire next year and I don't want to be left out lol. Daughter lives in Orlando but hubs and I would have to fly in for previews. May down grade from premiere though.
