Yeah, I think they'll fix the mistakes. This has too big of a footprint to end up as a ho hum attraction, especially with expansion space being so precious. I would think their surveys have shown them what needs corrected. And the looping layout of the building, and vehicles like Kong's that can have special effects added, necessitate a few changes alone.

I think if it was really going to be mostly a clone of Hollywood's experience, they would of just altered the building and used the musion in place in the old Frank Kincaid's screening room preshow as the nightclub musion scene in the tram experience. It would of made for a very similar set up and been very easy to rip apart the main show and overly screens and 4D effects to spray at the tram.

So there is one positive thing I can say, it should be a ground up attraction. I just hope it is great because I feel it needs to be supreme on its own without the source material.

My understanding is that those vehicles were having some issues which is one of the reasons Disaster was replaced. So I don't think in any scenario they wanted to keep the current stuff.

^ You don't know how I misread your post at first and was crestfallen. I won't tell you what I thought it said but I was momentarily shocked.

You are quite correct in your understanding.

For a split second I thought they were using the muppets cannon for demolition.

They are apparently removing the steel support beams from inside the sound stages. I see them cutting the beams as I go to work, and then passing parts out through the knocked down wall. 3/4 of Embarcadero is gone, curious how they are knocking the rest down since it is sooooo close to the HE track

I wish this attraction would be bare-bones story wise and be simply themed to be a Street Race.

I had a dream last night where the queue was nothing more than a hidden bunker/warehouse/garage for a Street Racing Team/Gang/Whatever-They're-Called. Board the vehicle, garage door opens and your out and on your way....

I just think a "Starting Line" scene in an alley way/desolate would be a beautiful way of blending practical/physical with 3D - but also would eat a LOT of space.

Big hole next to faux hole is now no hole at all. Whole building on the way down. They have a huge area back there cleared, wonder if it is all for F&F or if they will put some infrastructure support back there>
