The idea that this area that was once dedicated to one natural disaster might turn to another is amusing.

I still maintain that Disaster! was a great attraction—better than all of the attractions that have come to USF since it closed. Funnily enough the Rock was in that too. Would be funny if the successor attraction also has the Rock.

I liked TWISTERS (and love TWISTER).

But no thanks (if it was going to re-use the screen tunnel).

I actually think that Twisters could be a fun replacement for Supercharged, but I think BTTF would be MUCH more preferable. I do see this more likely than BTTF though for the reasons Legacy already laid out and also this…

Something to consider: you could easily “sell” a Twisters ride a LOT better than BTTF with the bus ride system. If you use BTTF, the GP is gonna be like “Why aren’t we riding the DeLorean??”

If they have to do Twisters, all I ask is that they really jazz up the wind effects to sell it and have some practical effects. I want to see Kuka arm cows and trucks flying by me while my hat gets blown off.

On the flip side, if Twisters does replace Supercharged, now BTTF has a slot open to use a better ride system. I can envision a BTTF overlay for Transformers.

It would certainly spice up this four-month-old conversation point hah. I'm of two minds about the idea:

- Like Legacy said, it's an easy overlay. The OG ride/show was really only one scene, so it could be done.

- On the other hand, the screens would still be a rough sell. The ride layout is still bad. And it just feels silly to, for a second time, take an old attraction IP and (potentially) do it worse (sorry Skull Island fans!!)

I hope they replace the ride system. So much potential in a building of that size.

Not a popular opinion but these last couple pages are a lot of cope in my opinion.

I don’t see any of these nostalgia IPs getting a ride presence anytime soon. While I would love to see a modern Twister attraction at USF I don’t believe the park executives feel the same yet.

I just think a lot of OG Universal fans are a little desperate for more classic IP representation in the parks.

For Twister/Twisters specifically, I agree. It's not a super marketable IP for the resort. I don't recall ever seeing merchandise for it within the parks.

I think for some other properties like BTTF or Ghostbusters, a return would be more plausible. They are more evergreen in terms of popularity, and they've at least had a sizable presence at USF even without a dedicated attraction.

This is how I would redesign Universal Studios Florida. First, I’d replace Fast & Furious – Supercharged with a Back to the Future attraction, bringing Hill Valley back into the park and incorporating a few nods to Jaws. Since there’s already a Jaws statue as a photo op, this would effectively restore Back to the Future, Jaws, and E.T. Adventure as active experiences—a huge win for the park’s classic lineup.

Next, I’d retheme The Simpsons Ride into a Wicked-themed attraction. The reason is simple: when you’re standing in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and look across the lagoon, seeing The Simpsons creates a strange visual clash. Wicked would blend much more naturally with the surrounding environment—both it and Harry Potter share a fantasy setting centered around magic and witches, making the overall aesthetic feel more cohesive.

Finally—and I know this is a huge hot take—I would completely overhaul the MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack and former Fear Factor Live area. I’d replace it with a large, fully immersive Nintendo-themed land. There’s more than enough space, especially with additional room available behind the DreamWorks area, to create something expansive and highly detailed.

That would be my ideal vision for Universal Studios Florida—a park that better balances nostalgia, immersion, and cohesive theming.

HTF used to give little hints and such back in the day, then he took a break from the site, has returned a while back and now this seems like a tiny hint.

I also could be looking further into things than there is, its a thing.

Preshow: Cocky guy in a cowboy hat is selling tickets on a storm chaser bus into the action.

3d tunnel replaced by all practical effects. Fire, water, wind, electricity, and a cow.

So… two things:

1) The PATH is the railway system that runs between Manhattan and New Jersey (it stands for Port Authority Trans-Hudson). Duh. The tour bus getting converted to a subway/rail system makes perfect sense. And, theoretically, it can still align with New York since the queue faces New York in the park. This gives us a LOT to speculate with.

2) I’m trying to find it, but I could have swore there was a ride system in development a few years ago that was referred to as PATH. I may be wrong though.
