First visit in 25 yrs coming up

I'm taking my kids here end of January. Been looking at universal wait times app frequently. Hagrids almost always says CL as in closed or --. My question is....has this ride been breaking down frequently or not running? We'll be there 3 or 4 days and I was really hoping to ride it 2x. Did it ever get fixed properly? Are they still doing the think where it doesn't open till noon? We're staying on property but as I understand it's not a ride that opens early for early entry? Thanks for any info!

Hagrid's is fixed now, the past two weeks are the busiest time of the year which causes it to go into capacity relatively quickly. You should be fine at the end of January.
