I'm so curious as to what the initial ideas for the MCU post-Secret Wars/Doomsday/etc. are. If the whole multiverse saga eventually ends with a set roster of heroes on the singular timeline, are they really going to just essentially reboot the MCU with X-Men, Fantastic Four, etc? Which would then begin a new path to the next Avengers level threat? Would they really leave the ideas of easy nostalgia and quick 'multiversal' ratings pops in the rear-view?
Hopefully at D23 2026 they pull back the curtain on the post SW slate. FWIW, I have heard some comic book sites speculate that a younger Avengers film might be in the cards at some point.

Those About to Die on Peacock is a fun watch. Trying very hard to be Game of Thrones meets Rome, ends up being an enjoyable if predictable prime time soap with some occasionally bad CGI (a lot of animals) and a ton of gore and nudity. Ramsey Bolton from GoT is an effective lead, the rest of the cast is fine, sometimes with flashes of brilliance. (Anthony Hopkins is top billed but it's a glorified cameo gig.) A lot of subplots, but that keeps the pacing fast, a rarity for streaming show lately. If you're intrigued by historical dramas, definitely worth checking out.

THANKSGIVING was good!

not for me, but im not here to yuck anyone’s yum.

the problem with Thanksgiving was the connection to the fake trailer.
sure they couldn't make it in that 70s grindhouse best up style. they had to make it modern. but Thanksgiving was missing the sarcastic cynical grit and the humor of the trailer. technically the movie was " good" but it's missing all the charm. yeah the movie was good but kinda generic and average.

as for borderlands. I heard that the original script was so great that there was a bidding war on it. apparently it was great. but then Eli Roth ripped it apart and added his own touches?
