Godzilla (2014)

I didn't love the movie. I thought it was well made but also felt it wasn't successful at taking itself so seriously yet being pretty cheesy at the same time.

I know I read somewhere that Legendary and WB were not allowed to have the rights to the other monsters in past Godzilla films to feature in the 2014 film, that's why they had to create their own monsters for Godzilla to fight. I don't know if that will continue for the sequels or not...

I don't think it will, toho apperently helped out a ton in this movie and since it's nowhere near 98 standards, they will probably cut them a break

Box office receipts are in for this weekend... Domestically, Godzilla made $93.2 million and globally it made $196.2 million. I don't doubt the big guy will be able to keep it up!
