Interesting tidbit. One would hope it would be for less than a week of true.

I'd take it with a Jim Hill grain size of salt but I could see it being a possibility. The HE has always kind of fascinated me with how they've boxed in USF with it. I always liked the idea that they could be expand back behind the current buildings.

Being raised, a walkway could always be underneath it, (as there are for team member paths already.)

For example, Splash Mountain entrance is beyond the train tracks, and you just walk under it. Space Mountain is even more clever with the long corridor going down under the train track level.

I read the wildest rumour that HE could be closing but I'm thinking the only way this would be possible is if construction could interfere with the ride running or even wilder, a relocation of the station and it would be a temporary closure.

Relocation of the station would be extremely difficult with the system they use. The crossover point in the middle has to be midway between the stations. To move the station, it would have to either be the same exact distance from the midpoint, or they'd have to rebuild the crossover section of the track.

HE guarantees that 90% of guests buy park-hopper tickets. No way in hell they close it for any longer than a week.

I could easily see a temporary closure to rework the load platform to create a better photo op by removing the part of the back wall and all of the end wall that hides DC. That would result in the removal of the existing fake HE photo op.

Bit that is all just a guess.

And allow for a new photo op with the “real” HE on the exit platform- That would help stagger the amount of people exiting at once slightly as well.

I'm working on a new video and wanted to get everyone's thoughts one more time. See if anyone's opinions have changed in the last few weeks.

What type of ride system do you think they'll be using for this ride?

A. Inverted Powered Coaster (Like Arthur)
B. Dynamic SFX Coaster (Example)
C. Hagrid's Sidecar Mortorbike style coaster
D. Universal's entirely original design
E. None of the Above (Explain)

Fascinating to see how this turns out. Personally, I choose B as while people may compare it to Gringotts, it is far different than that, and has some groundbreaking elements that would work nicely for a Forbidden Forest attraction

From a premier, one of a kind attraction to a pile of scrap.

Sad.
