Wait does USH not count the years in the 80/90s when they had the event as year HHN was around?

I know about the Tram accident but aren't we close to 30 years of the event running at USH?

I've never seen any anniversary mentions, so I don't know. Adding the pre-2006 years would add another six years to the event, but it'd surprise me if they did so.

I am excited for all of the official announcements (even if we know what it will all be) so that all plans, hype lists, etc. can be fully, fully finalized and official. One more house, one more show, and one Terror Tram theme to go for Hollywood!
Same

I'll be happy wherever Chucky ends up

If its a smaller area cool, that will work and if its dreamworks thats cool as well. I was kinda hoping for the Classic monster show in dreamworks but if its Chucky instead, I will not complain

For what it’s worth, Hollywood is aware of the Hollywood niche for a HHN culture like Orlando’s and I know they’re definitely looking into doing something to honor or expand upon it in the years to come.

I hope this does come to pass.. we've seen Murdy be openly opposed to this sort of thing in the past, claiming it'd be insulting to the IPs and celebs he chose to collab with or something like that..

Ditto! As a classic monsters fan, I would love to have more UM content. But, as a slasher fan, the idea of getting both Leatherface and Chucky is really exciting, especially when the IP lineup earlier in the season seemed like we might be missing any of those icons.

Well if the IPs and Celebs want to play nice, I am all for it. Who wouldn't want to see --
Alice Cooper vs. The Weeknd
Titans of Terror Vol. 2 featuring Jason, Freddy, Michael, and Leatherface
Blumhouse of Universal Classic Monsters: Music by Slash
Chucky & the Ghostbusters Meet La Llorona
The Texas Chain Jigsaw
The Walking Dead: Presented by Diego Luna

One of the few times procrastination pays off! Was waiting to get mine when I get paid!

Also this is kinda telling. Is demand simply not gonna be as crazy as least year?
I think overall it wont be as busy but I'm sure the last few weeks will be just as insane if word of mouth is good

But while I'm sure the event will be good, this goes to show the power of some IPs. Last of Us is newer and really loved, Stranger things is one of the biggest shows in the world and Chucky has older fans but really I think the new show along with the really high praise for that house

This year at least from those announced....Ghost Busters is the biggest IP and its not based on the old films and some people don't want that IP at the event.
Maybe the Chucky show and Weekend will draw more eyes
