1.The problem with Jaws que is lighting and in Saw I think they did a very good job of taking care of that. At the same token I think it worked in 2007 for Camp Blood as well because they embraced it. For whatever reason the light issue is not as much of a problem in Disaster!, people either ignore it more or they work threw it more.

2. Caretaker, Director and Terra Queen. Terra Queen as far as story goes has the best event to date. I think she needs to come back. Caretake and Director haven't had houses since 2006 and they are both extremely strong icons.

3. Harry Potter Halloween Event in the same vein as Mickey's Not So Scary. Up charge, have special shows, give out candy, voucher for pumpkin juice and one "Halloween Feast".

1. The Jaws queue does feel a bit cramped, but what hurts it most is the sets. Its usually just walls, not much of a theme because they all seem to be similar, it just never stands out.

2. Cryptkeeper - He always a funny/scary character and I think its about time he has a resurrection. I mean if Elvira is back on TV, why not him?

3. Easy I'm sure she would approve an HP type of scariness to it. Have Deatheaters walking around scaring people and have Hogsmeade filled with smoke, its straight out of the books and isn't ruining the area.

Relating to HHN in HP, I heard that the event is likely never to return to IOA because of the smaller pathways. Apparently the need for props and scareactors plus the huge amount of guests is just a bad time at IOA. Has anyone else heard something similar to this?

Very True, there is a smaller capacity at IOA I think for HHN than at USF, more space = more people and more money at the bars

As much as I think Jack is over exposed he is the best icon they have had, probably the fan favortie and will eventually return.

Jaws Queue is what it is, if they wanted they could make it work.

Not a fan of IOA for HHNs, too far to walk around the lake and then over to the Sound stages.

I really hope we get a new Caretaker/ Director icon this year, another creature like icon like Fear would just blend in. Another thing to talk about, queue videos. Last year we only got one, and I haven't seen a truly scary one since Screamhouse Resurrection in '06 which was probably one of the goriest things I have ever seen.

I used to be content with the idea of HHN going back to IOA until a few months ago. I thought HHN could use the mixup for a year or two to keep things from getting tired. But the crowds at IOA have been absolute hell thanks to Potter (And I'm happy for them, but it's frustrating as hell sometimes). With all this excitement for Potter still going on with the inclusion of the drunken crowd of HHN, my assumption is that it could be a recipe for disaster.

I think a really cool layout could go like this, it's much like 2004. In order:

Entrance at USF
Production central scarezone
House at SS 22
Hollywood scarezone
Central Park pumpkin forest
Kidzone Parade building house entrance
Sprung tent 2 entrance by M.I.B gift shop
Disaster! entrance scarezone, Distaster! queue house
NYC scarezone (includes sting alley)
Crossover at NYC library facade to Posidens Fury entrance (2004), scarezone in between.
SS23 house entrance at Posidens fury
SS20 house entance at Suess landing crossover gate
Carnage warehouse house
Toon Lagoon scarezone
JP scarezone, Discovery Center house
Bridge back to IOA crossover area.

So thats 8 houses and 7 scarezones, and the only islands used would be Lost Continent, Toon Lagoon, and JP which is still plenty.

How could they use the Discovery Center as a house? It's so tiny...

Well the original Physcoscarepy was in there as well as the original Body Collectors and they were both rather long 10 show scene layouts.

You are forgetting dead areas in Seuss and Marvel in the scenario you're talking about, regardless thats having it way too spread out and only opening half of each park isn't worth their time.

The original Body Collectors was housed in the DC and was a GREAT house as well as Psycho Scareapy. Both are all time great houses.

Oh ok, I guess. It just seems really cramped in there, like it would affect the layout.

Not atl all. Considering that 2 of what are considered the best houses in HHN history were placed there, it's not an issue at all.

And not to mention nothing was better than getting a burger from Burger Digs and then sitting down hearing all of the people screaming below from the house

One time I printed the layout of the original Psychoscarepy out and walked the Discovery Center to see what it was like. It was small but the space was used very effectivley.

I guess Psycoscarepy would have been better if I hadn't see Escape from Insanity at HOS. It was small which to me is a plus for a haunt, I like a feeling of having to make tight turns and corners. Body Collectors was a one trick Pony the spine scene If you had never seen something done like that it was pretty good. I saw an Idea about a Harry Potter event like MNSSHP great idea except IOA is not kid friendly enough overall to do that. And to only do Seuss and WWOHP area is to small. MNSSHP takes up the whole park and draws in piles and piles of people. In fact it is the biggest October event in Orlando.

I don't think the consumers who would be going to a Harry Potter Halloween Party would be caring about how much of the park was open. They'd just be all "POTTER AND HALLOWEEN ZOMG!!!"
