And of course you wouldn't. You've done nothing but whine and moan about HHN so far.
And you do nothing but defend it despite the obvious cuts that were made this year (and some of them had nothing to do with construction). Neither extreme is good, but I wouldn't say October is only "whining and moaning." He has expectations of what the event is based on past experience (i.e., the bar Universal has set) and expects nothing less than that quality for the money he's paying. He's allowed to criticize what is known about it since he's (presumably) trying to decide whether or not to spend money on attending. I fail to understand why you continue to make such blatantly inflammatory statements toward HHN fans when many of them are simply expressing concern about the direction the event may be taking.
Needed to get that off my chest.
As for what's been shown... I haven't watched any of the videos, I don't want it spoiled. I did look at the costumes, though...
Dead End looks AMAZING. That costume really excites me, and while I haven't watched the walk-through, it really seems like this house will be The Wyandot Estate executed correctly.
Gargoyle costume underwhelmed me... just seems off. I do like that it's a bodysuit, but it doesn't appear to be very realistic. Will probably look better in show lighting & with an actual actor inside it. The press image was impressive, so...
Alice Cooper looks fairly by the numbers. No real surprises.
Penn & Teller... chuckled at the show girl, but I'm very afraid this is going to be all funny, very little scary (closer to Cleaver than to Bloodengutz). Prove me wrong, I want to be!
Silent Hill Nurse looks spot-on, very excited to see that.
Walker looked boring. The prosthetics will be far more interesting in that house/zone.
Traditionals was exactly what I thought it'd be.
Warriors is... bizarre. Is it a gang, or a more medieval battalion? We'll need to see more.
Very confused by Beasts... I'm not sure I really get the costume. Went down on my anticipated list, sadly.
Prisoners and Vampires are predictably simple.
Gates look great (reminds me of 2007), though it's a shame the LED screen was ditched. Then again... what exactly what they show on the screen, even more AMC ads?
Just gonna toss this out there... last year, costumes and designs were shown early at a public Tweetup event. This year, it's a media-invite event... and the amount of spoiler-laden walk-through videos has increased dramatically. All much like our sister event in Hollywood...
