I have a semi related/unrelated questionn. I have never heard of Halloween horror nights. I'm from KY and this will be my first time ever to universial studios. I'm going for one night for HHN. The problem is the person I am going with is a total **** and I will most likely have to go through these houses alone. How big of a deal is that? I love all things horror but can't imagine going through the houses alone lol any input on how that will be for me please!!

hatetofly is pretty much dead on. Inside the houses, you are far from alone. You go in the house in a conga line with people before and after you. The only true downside to going alone is that you won't have anyone to discuss the houses with afterwards and kill time with in the lines. However, you can meet a lot of cool people in line to talk with if that bothers you.

So, a friend just told me about Netherworld yesterday. Have any of you ever been? While not a theme park with 8 houses, it appears they do their 1 or 2 houses on a much grander scale than HHN. Your thoughts?

Once you get comfortable with how things are set up you will want to do a house alone it's AWESOME! I have had the opportunity to do several houses alone including Scary Tales 3, AllNight Die In, and Hell Gate Prison to name a few. The cast in ST3 destroyed me and was an amazing experience.

That makes me feel better! I'm not a wimp by any means but will feel like a fish out of water. Totally new experience. Also, I am going on Thursday Oct 4th, would I really need a fast pass?

Hmm okay! I was going to anyway but read through various forums the week nights were less busy. I don't want to miss anything. Any best guess on price for an express pass during the week? I know those aren't out yet but judging from the past?

I've herd of it. Everyone I've heard loved it.

Talk to "The Decemberists" on this board, He's been (multiple times I think). There is also a thread for it somewhere.

I have been to every event since 2001 and if there is one thing I have learned its that any night is a total crap shoot at HHN's. You can go on a Thursday and do all the houses twice without express. Then on another Thursday do 3 or 4 houses without express. Trust me no matter what get them. When your at the event and your with your guests you can say I am so glad I listened to HTF at Orlando united  as for the cost expect somewhere between 59.99 to 69.99 per person for the 4th.

I already am! I just moved into a place with a real ahem spirit that scared the bejesus out of me a few months ago. And I still want to see this stuff lol I'm seriously demented. Maybe a loser but I'm hoping for the walking dead one. Huge fan! And of course :) love that place. You ever go there?

It's a lot of fun.
Its a two giant haunts with more stuff than you can shake a stick at.Great costumed characters that pose for pics.
No conga lines and you can go at your own pace, allow others to pass you and such.

Yeah first time going definitely buy express after you have gone for a while you can sort of figure out days that you will not need express. I remember a couple nights I did all the houses with max 45min. wait.

Now that they're doing this Walking Dead Escape obstacle course, does anyone think the house is confirmed?
