So is the Penn and Teller house pretty much confirmed? Or still rumor and through the grapevine?

I would have to say so. Everything speculated so far has come true such as- Walking Dead, Silent Hill and Cooper.

A very different feel this year than other recent years. HHN is one of my favorite events to attend, so I will definitely venture out, but am interested to see how different it feels this year compared to previous years.

It is possible it is going to have a huge spurt in growth and be packed this year due to all the popular intellectual properties with different age attraction and sub genres in the horror genre itself.

With 7 houses instead of 8, and no Jaws, not much room for growth--the capacity just isn't there. It's been rumored for years, but I think next year they have no choice but to go to two parks.

Well we will also likely see more nights added over time as well. Also, I am still waiting on confirmation that we are only getting seven houses for sure.

They already have seem to of got rid of the Frequent Fear with Express option, which is nice news for length of lines.

I thought Silent Hill was scary. Then I played Amnesia. Goodbye, Sleep!

I have a feeling we may see an unprecedented number of rides open this year, along with (hopefully) a HHN Cinespec show and some sort of other show, maybe Beetlejuice?

But I would expect Rockit, Mummy, MIB, and Simpsons open like last year. Despicable Me is a shoe in considering it's newness. But if they really are worried about capacity I wouldn't be surprised to see ET open.

Would love to see Beetlejuice and Horror & Make-Up--would be even cooler if they did special HHN versions. That said, there has been zero-point-zero news of that happening so far. Of course, they could schedule the normal shows even the day of, just call in the B-cast.

I know everyone expects DM to be open but I just don't see it. It's a kid ride--Universal goes out of its way to convey this is not a kid-friendly event. Also, theme park nerds like us aside, I don't see a lot of overlap between the vast majority of HHN fans and DM fans.

I would note in previous years when capacity was an issue, Uni didn't open Shrek or ET--instead, they went out of their way to open Marvel Island.

The express tickets have always been "released" (for lack of a better term) somewhat late. At this time next month if there's no word, then we'll know that, but I still suspect we'll see FFP with Express--at an insane price.

Nah. It'll be open. It's a new ride that's a merch seller and doesn't require a large staff.

There are a lot of kids that go to HHN (not that I feel they should, just me) and DM would provide a nice way for them to be taken out of the event.

Yeah they want the early birds to freak out and buy tickets at full price in fear of a sell out.
I wish they would do away with the FF passes all together, I have said it before, it devalues the event and is unfair to everybody else paid good money to be there.

ET or Dm... I can't see either of those being open.

Then you hurt your most dedicated fanbase and the people that fund the majority of the event by coming back and buying food/drinks

The FFP is probably the BEST value of the whole event and its built for the local fanbase that can pretty much make it to the event multiple times.

I live in Miami and I WISH I could take advantage of that, but I can't be driving back and forth.
