The FFP is probably the BEST value of the whole event and its built for the local fanbase that can pretty much make it to the event multiple times.

I live in Miami and I WISH I could take advantage of that, but I can't be driving back and forth.

I am sure I would as well, no doubt its a great value but IMO it just devalues the ticket and just adds to the wait times and conga lines.

I'm betting DM will be open. You lose space with Jaws being gone, you need to redirect some traffic. DM is brand new, and despite it's content, it will eat some people.

It is possible it is going to have a huge spurt in growth and be packed this year due to all the popular intellectual properties with different age attraction and sub genres in the horror genre itself.

I think that it will stay the same in terms of attendance. Even the years with SAW or Wolfman haven't seen some huge spike in attendance. They remain pretty consistent from year-to-year, and I think we will continue to see the same this year.

Not certain how this forum operates, so I don't want to just blast a ton of responses to things being said here, so I will just do it in one post:

-- Frequent Fear Pass w/ Express: I am certain that they are returning this year. They haven't released them due to the prices not being finalized. This is nothing new. They do this every year and it will come back. It makes too much money for them to not have it.

-- HHN Cinescope: No idea. It makes a lot of sense for them to have it though considering the nighttime event and the ability to really suck a lot of people into watching the show, helping with capacity issues.

-- Despicable Me: I wouldn't count on it, honestly. Just because of the age range for the attraction. The attractions are definitely not the main focus and the wait times are very minimal during the event. More shows would be a better way to eat up crowds instead of opening a ride that really won't have an effect on guests. Especially if there is a scare zone in that area. As mentioned, they don't open up Shrek, they're not opening up DM.

I don't see many people flying acosss the country for a Silent Hill house, Walking Dead, ect.
I think the attendance increase would negligable., it's more they get money for advertising.

The express psses, behind the scenes, and RIP tours are always late when it comes to info.

Yes they need the night time lagoon show and I agreee about DM just don't see it, put that money somewhere else.

Will an HHN Cine Scope show be that much of a people-eater, tho? Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of it, but I don't know that they have the budget to do this once an hour. A once-a-night 15 minute show is going to have a negligible effect on crowds/line waits.

The ideal situation, in terms of crowds, would be something in Animal Actors and Beetlejuice that you can repeat five or six times a night. Seen no indication that's coming, tho.

I don't think HHN Cinespec will have any fireworks. I wouldn't be surprised if it was just fountains/screens/lasers

Except people will start queuing for it about fifteen-thirty minutes before the show. And if they do it in the middle of the event as opposed to the end, it would definitely have some impact on the houses.

There are a lot of things that have me excited and a few things that have me iffy, just waiting for some more information, as long as we have at least half of the houses original ideas, then I'll be happy.

When it comes to express, I go early in the event and NEVER need the express pass.

This. And it's especially easier if you're an AP holder and take advantage of early admission. You get three houses knocked out before anyone even gets in the park.

Thats fine it you like the daylight, I ve done it before and I prefer my HHNs in the dark.
I like the express becuase it lets me get in houses after its dark and some I will get to do multiple times, on my short visit, while not standing in lines all night.

I don't mind it because the head start allows me to redo in the houses in the dark if I so please. Plus for me, the houses in the dark isn't a big deal. They're indoors. You can't tell until you've finished the house. But scarezones... that's when you need it to be dark. They're out in the elements. Just not the same in the daylight.

The tent houses are not made for daylight, that glowing white top totaly kills those houses during the preview.

I never notice. In all honesty, I'm too busy screaming. And again, with an early start, there's room to redo a house or two.
