The Nurses: Mentioned in the several forms of advertising.

Pyramid Head: Huge character in the franchise and mentioned in the announcement video. Apparently, this is a very tall creature and will most likely be played by a big scareactor.
- I'd definitely expect several more monsters to appear, I just don't know which are the primary ones in the series. Here's the wiki page from the monsters:

Fog World: "The Fog World is the unofficial name for the dimension that lies between the "Real World" of Silent Hill and the hellish Otherworld." Expect to see some fog effects mixed with some creatures, but not as many as in other scenes.

OtherWorld: "The Otherworld is the name given to the nightmarish parallel universe that materializes through the ancient powers of Silent Hill." The monsters in this world apparently alter their appearance to suit the fears of their victims. Could we see this play out some how? Visual aspects of this world include rusted and bloodstained floors and walls, fencing, barbed wire, and walls composted of flesh. Also: chains, hooks, fans, corpses, and cages apparently are commonplace.

Caught in between a dimensional shift: According to the Silent Hill wiki, characters often become caught in between the Fog World and the Other World. Could this possibly be this year's spinning vortex?

Real World - "The Real World is, put simply, reality, or the physical "dimension" that most people inhabit in the Silent Hill series." This place has very few "creatures" and could possibly be the entrance/facade to the house.
I actually have not seen the movies or played the games, so if anyone who has could chime in and maybe add somethings, that'd be great.
