From the video and appearance possibility I just went from indifferent to stoked!

So I just took a survey on the website, and it said The Walking Dead is the overall theme for the year.

Color me a bit disappointed in that.

OMG. If they're there when I am, I'm going to be one happy fan.

After checking their show's calendar, these are the only event dates they aren't doing a show: 9/21, 9/27, 9/28, 10/4, 10/5, 10/11, 10/12. After 10/12, there are currently no scheduled shows.

Meh. I can't say I'm at all excited for it, but it could turn out okay depending on how they pull it off.

What is a 3D house? What kind of glasses do they use?

They use ChromaDepth 3D Glasses. It takes different colors and makes them stand out.

Oh... I think I have a pair of those. They were on top of a box of Kleenex tissue promoting Cars 2. They just put funny color-buzz outlines around each object you look at.

If this ends up being a cross between HR Bloodengutz and the In-Between--strong early contender for house of the year. Getting more excited now, fingers crossed that the classic monsters still make an appearance in the parade building.

In a way its like we are only getting 2 "true" IP houses.
Alice for all intensive purposes is an original house, created by the HHN design team. They imagined the whole house with some inspiration from Alice Cooper.
HHN Created the monster designs and what the sets look like. Seems to be the Same with New(kd) Vegas.

SH and TWD are both designed based on properties with existing sets and creature designs, we know what it looks like before really experiencing the house. What i consider "true" IP houses.

A. I seriously have to wonder if this was on the table for last year and it was pushed back, or if Marketing saw stuff last year and said "Why didn't we have a Vegas house?"

B. This looks pretty cool but it reminds me a bit of the Nuclear Fallout 3D house Busch did in 2007.

C. If you've gone through this house too many times and it's starting to become less scary I recommend you put on 5 pairs of 3D glasses and up the ante. It'll make it way more intense.

I was pretty weary on this at first, but now that the idea behind it is out, consider me sold.

I'm guessing they'll be there opening night. If not, the next weekend seems logical since they have 2 nights without shows.

Sounds interesting, could be the longest house name in HHN history though. I felt In-Between while very cool relied on 3D as a gimmick to carry the house. It hope it's more integrated into the scares in this and AC.

So, are all of the walls painted with these 3D illusions in this kind of haunt? Or do they use enhanced props to propel the aberration? If you have some glasses from previous adventures... below is one of the best I have seen. (sorry if I sound like such a little boy amateur on this subject)

Teebin - You can see some photos of last year's 3D house here: http://www.orlandounited.com/forums/showthread.php?6532-Favorite-House&p=205753#post205753

Hope that helps.

This puppet was used at tour I took in Ohio, was really cool in their 3-D section.

I hope they don't announce the other three houses for awhile. I want some of the original aspects to be a surprise.

I can't help but agree with you. As well as the scarezones and supposed shows. Prolonging that will keep the fans aching for more until the event starts.
