Ahh. Never even attempted to watch Roanoke.
It's a mediocre season of television (though the first four-five episodes are actually pretty fun) but will make for an excellent, varied maze.

That house surprisingly served up one of the best scares I've seen on one of my friends. It was his first HHN, first house. I like walking behind newbies to enjoy their reactions first time through. Safe to say he was not expecting scares from above! We still crack up about it to this day:dance:It cant be worse than the non-braned Roanoke house. That thing was awful.
And REALLY smelled like plastic body parts.

I didn't notice it until last night, but someone on the SZ forum mentioned concept art last week, so it might have been tied with the announcement. I thought it looked pretty interesting.Second box unlocked on Soul Collectors page. Is that new this morning? Your Soul is Requested | Halloween Horror Nights™ Soul Collector
when I first went through that house I was honestly confused. I was like are they offering me bbq? (what it smelled like in the house)It cant be worse than the non-braned Roanoke house. That thing was awful.

That encompasses what HHN is all about. While I didn't care for Roanoke that year (minus drums and Wendigo spirit room) any house or scarezone can leave you with a lasting memory you can laugh about forever. That house surprisingly served up one of the best scares I've seen on one of my friends. Wasn't that pretty much in Simpsons area during 25?I'm still waiting for my Giggles & Gore inc scarezone

I'm going to guess Dead Waters and maybe Harvest of Souls? You may have the names for 2 originals already.
Waiting for this confirmation is annoying as hell.
For fifteen years, the final reveal was always the Thursday four weeks before opening. That was last week. Even most individual announcements over the past five years were on Thursdays. What day can we expect THE announcement?
Why am I not excited for The Purge? Honest opinion? The scare zone from 24 was ok, I guess. It wouldn't rank anywhere near my top HHN zones, though. The house from 25 is easily one of my least favorite houses of all time. And yes, I am aware that it was a last minute haphazard switch - it was really poor regardless. And to top it off, it's coming back both in the streets AND in a house this year. No pun intended, but it's really overkill at this point. I'd much prefer something different. Why is nobody excited for The Purge scarezone. I saw it at 24 still my all time favorite scarezone. The house was not very good but had a couple good scares.
Maybe if everyone in the zone were cat people? Would that work? Why am I not excited for The Purge? Honest opinion? The scare zone from 24 was ok, I guess.
