Or the Fashion X-Files!!I want a Fashion Peaks. Or The Truth is Not H.
With all of the IP houses now officially announced, here's how I rank my IP excitement:
1. The Shining
2. Ash vs Evil Dead
3. American Horror Story
4. Saw
5. Blumhouse
The Shining is the one property left that I've wanted to see translated into a house for years. I'm really hoping that it doesn't let me down, but the potential definitely exists.
Catching up, I think TV horror IP is much more likely than Video Game horror IP. TNT's revival of Tales From the Crypt could be a contender next year.
Not exactly a long list there. Stranger Things and Bates Motel would be it, really - (At least drawing names).
To be fair, a few of them have already been done: From Dusk till Dawn, AHS, AvED... more TV than Video Games already
Huh? :saywhat: I know WD is mainly about the humans but it's absolutely horror. Especially compared to GoT.It's not really a horror property, per se, but Walking Dead wasn't, either.
I would rather A&D do their own take on snow zombies. If it just happens to take place in a fantasy setting with zombears, then great. Attaching Game of Thrones to it creates too many expectations. Just have snow zombies attacking a town called "Sturdy-Hat" and call it a day.The rights would be stupidly (prohibitively) expensive, but I maintain a Game of Thrones house could actually... work?
White Walkers, Wights, Children of the Forest, Sons of the Harpy, Faceless Men, House of the Undying, Zombified Mountain, Direwolves (puppet ala AWIL), Stone Men... plenty of environments...

Kind of hard to make it the next TWD when it only has one season leftMy wife and I were just watching episode seven last night and I had the same thought. Playing devil's advocate though it could quickly devolve into TWD. Done properly it might be pretty cool ... and for better or worse it would draw some massive crowds.
