I've usually been fine at Finnegan's arriving around 4 or 4:15. Takes about 10-15 minutes to get seated if you're open to sharing a table or booth with strangers. The staff handles the crowd very well. In the interest of time, I usually skip the appetizer and dessert and just order an entree. Get out by 5:15-5:30 and get in line to exit to the houses.

Trust me, I was surprised, too. I haven't received a reason. I did message Gambit & the Admins for an explanation. Pretty unfortunate since I've been there for years. I guess my "crime" is that I was "overly critical" of HHN. Odd, considering other members there would get on my ass and ridicule me constantly but they probably didn't receive a single peep. I cursed once or twice, which I received a warning for, but didn't consider (referring to guests that acted like idiots) to be that bad.

im gonna get hate for saying this but, i think saws my second most anticipated house, now don't get me wrong the franchsie sucks but it actually does have some good material in some scenes, it can be like havoc with a good cast,

I can see a Saw House being really good. The one in 09 though was very forgettable and didn't do it for me.

If it's possibly to get AHS done without a massive wait by staying st finnegans then that will surely be our game plan. I just thought by the time we get through the second house by finnegans that the lines for AHS and The Shining would be astronomical. I'm shocked you were able to do them with no wait whatsoever.

They opened up Exorcist first to Finnegans so we had to wait in line for that but by the time we were out AHS had opened and I believe this was just before the gates opened so we literally just walked right in both nights.

So I guess this year we'll get to do The Shining first which will be nice to beat the crowds to.

Edit: to be more clear we usually get to the Finn s&s around 4-4:30 but we usually do the park during the day so we're already there. At 25 we ate dinner one night but like others have said it gets really crowded and they seat strangers with you and wait time for food is a bit long. At 26 we just sat in the street, hardly any people and everyone is buzzing and excited. It's a really nice area to spread your legs and relax before the chaos of the event.
