I like the idea of the Fan Fest event as it can be utilized for IPs that don't easily fit into HHN (like Scooby-Doo, Game of Thrones, etc.).

While I liked the first and last Stranger Things houses, I think the IP fits better into this Fan Fest lineup.

Yeah, Scooby-Doo at Horror Nights just doesn't gel. A Fan Fest attraction, though? That I could really see.

Especially with Rip Ride Rock-It leaving mid-event, this park needs to be prepped to deal with the crowds that will no doubt arrive this year. 11-12 houses is a good idea, but the event needs variety too. That was my big problem with last year's event. Outside of simply running through all 10 houses, there was just nothing else to do really. It got boring substantially quicker than previous events.

I really don't think it's out of the question for them to offer:

- An HHN-specific Lagoon Show
- More variety in Zone show moments
- Random Streetmosphere like the M3gan horde, or the chainsaw gangs.
- Icons or other characters in queue lines or randomly across the event a la Jack during HHN30
- Transformers (The absence of this ride honestly hurt the event a ton for me. I didn't think it would, but it's a solid, non-coaster thrill attraction to do usually for less than 20-30 minutes. A wonderful palate cleanser after a number of houses. Sorely missed.)

They've done all of this and more in the past. Losing HRRR as a guest eater is going to be really terrible for the event imo. A second stage show or extra rides like E.T. or Fallon would be preferred but are probably off the table. I also think the experience of queuing, watching, and exiting HNF is an absolute and literal Nightmare, requiring a significant amount of time out of your night and a long time spent jam-packed in a humid, warm, and loud environment.

Fixing any of these issues will help a ton, but all of them combined would really lead to an immeasurable improvement imo.

This is why part of me wonders if their plans may shift, and they may decide to keep HRRR open through HHN season at least.

Depending on placement/location of the 11th/12th houses, I wouldn't see why they couldn't open ET either.

(I still think they should run either Bourne or Horror Makeup a few times throughout the night as well)

This honestly breaks my heart a bit if it's true. TLOU 2 was something I was really looking forward to... I made a whole house outline for it and everything. Man. Fallout is one of my dream IPs so at least there's that but I can't help but be sad about TLOU 2.

I always said that hhn needs meet and greet events, and last year they " kind of" did it with the 4 hhn characters that were standing on the stages by the open bar areas, ( with the punk sull guy that was there and the goblin)
but the problem with that is that the characters they picked were too generic.
so I acknowledge that universal did something new, but maybe it needs to be more famous, recognizable characters, maybe Michael Myers and Megan and stuff ( this would obviously bring in long lines for photos. needed to be organized)

I'm just replying to you about the Streetmosphere,
and yeah the streets definitely need more interactive stuff. more places for people to check.

I've always said that hhn also needs a zombie band, a small 3 people music band playing covers or something, nothing huge, maybe something like where the blues brothers play in the park, put a zombie or ghoul band or vampire band playing music

we had this cool little robot guy back in 2007.
bring him back. he was very memorable. have a robot band playing music. ( 2006 also had the giant robot eating cars robosaurus, bring it back.) bring them back.

horror nights needs live entertainment.
nothing huge. not a stage show. needs something like what the coconut club does,
this little robot was really entertaining back then

I get you but, the way I see it, we already had last of us but never fallout, I prefer something new than a sequel. and the last of us second season will come out so at least we will have the show.

So, it is kind of bumming if TLOU2 doesn't come.

HOWEVER.... TLOU was my #1 all time wish list house. And I got that.

Fallout was very close behind it - so I am ALL for this!

ROBOSAURUS!

I can't tell you why, but I feel like he would sync perfectly with a wrestling house.

Small reminder in these bummer times - I was sad I missed out on 2012 because I had really wanted to see the Walking Dead. Little did I know...

With season 2 of show not dropping until April now, it's probably a good idea to hold off on an adaptation, even if it wasn't planned.

i know a few people who are fans of the show and not the game. They have no idea what theyre going in to for season 2

The Fan in me wants Fallout to be an adaptation of the games so they can pull from a lot of material. The pragmatist in me wants Fallout to be based of the show to open the door for future Amazon adaptations.

i learned my lesson being excited for the freddy rumor last year. super excited and that rumor was expelled in like 2 weeks. there’s no point in getting super hyped this early.

Like I'm still disappointed that TLOU 2 is potentially not coming anymore but I'm still VERY hyped for Fallout. It was something I really wanted last year (after I played the games it became a dream/bucket list IP for me) and I even argued with people here on this website about whether or not it would work or if it would even ever come. Now here we are lol. I can also appreciate that it's something very new and unique for HHN. Very exciting if it does come. This year is starting to remind me of 2018 if the rumors are true- completely new/fresh IPs being featured at the event (2018: Stranger Things, Trick R Treat, Poltergeist; 2025: Fallout, WWE: Wyatt Sicks and Terrifier) and an increased house count. I need August 29th to get here soon!!!!

If TLOU Part 2 is seemingly out of consideration based on these rumors, I think that opens the door to 28 Years Later being a very real possibility this year. It's another Sony-produced zombie IP with a cult following, so I think it's fairly likely.
