For media Gringotts was running four trains and still had issues with it.

Do you happen to know if the check in is hard wired or wi-fi?

Supposedly it is running but no one has confirmed riding it yet, but I got my info by someone who said it on Twitter that TMs told them that...everything seems to be sooooo fluid with this right now that things are seemingly changing by the minute.

This is reminding me a loooot of when Hogsmeade opened up that the sky was falling with the ride and once they opened up everything was fine.

The good news a few people already confirmed on Twitter they rode and all of them stating the ride is absolutely amazing. 47 mins in and no estops yet.

Twitter seems to have gone quiet the last 45 mins or so, anyone have any updates? I'm really hoping it makes it through tonight ok.

Also, how many trains are meant to run at once on full capacity?

While true, that isn't really relevant or helpful to Universal now... Just because it has happened in the past, that doesn't mean there should be an expectation that it's ok every time a single ride opens.

That grand opening was a disaster. The headlines the next day did not mention all the stars there, just angry customers, broken rides etc. Vidoes showed people yelling for refunds, and even a fight in front of Earthquake. Of course, the fact that Universal swore the rides would be open, despite not one soft opening preview, only added to the debacle. Attentence estimates were slashed from 6 million to 3 million, Universal was forced to do a 2-for-1 admission, and the reputation suffered greatly. It was years before it ever recovered, and was such a debt-amker even Universal thought of selling it off at one point (The other 50% went through a series of owners none of which wanted to really invest in the money loser). I doubt Universal wants headlines like that EVER again

If I can't catch a soft open before the Grand opening of this area, I won't be riding this ride until later in the year. I'm not going to wait hours to get into this area and hours to get on this ride. No matter what it is, it's not worth it.
