Verbinski got away with a lot on those movies.

LONE RANGER, too, which features a guy getting his heart carved out while somebody vomits onscreen at the sight of it!

You know... for kids!

That train chase finale is some of the most fun ever on cinema.

I mean, you can say whatever you want about the Pirates movies and you’re not wrong that there was some gnarly stuff, but even still it can easily be classified as a four quadrant franchise.

I don't love the movie overall, but that final setpiece is incredible.

My thing with this movie more than anything is I think the casting is suspect in many respects and I just currently don’t believe it’ll be any good
