Based on B-movies from the 80’s, the house is set in a decrepit drive-in movie theater and will feature creatures such as alien cannibals, creatures with tons of teeth and a ravenous swamp yeti.

Slaughter Sinema haunted house announced for Halloween Horror Nights 28 | Inside Universal

It's freaking Troma in disguise, and I love it. Can't wait to see how they handle the B-Movie genre.

Not in the house, most likely. As soon as your in the tent, you're in the films.

The façade is a drive-in, with screen. It'll have video.

That makes me think then, that the facade is going to be that we enter one of those Outdoor Movie screen's.

If that's the case, it'd be a missed opportunity to not do film trailers of the three films featured.

"It’s showtime at the local drive-in. As you approach, you’ll see movie trailers of what you’re about to witness, filling you with dread as you make your way inside. The smell of popcorn will be first to hit your senses as you find yourself in a movie theater snack bar. But from there, it’s all downhill for this double-feature."

Are the movies fairly evenly split in the Tent? Or will it be like Blumhouse where 2 short sections then 1 long one?

I love everything about this house! Please let it get a shirt!

And did you catch the reference to Hall & Oates Maneater in Amazon Cannibals from Planet Hell?

"Watch out boy, they'll chew you up"

Hope they play it in that portion of the house.

Just a bit confused about the number of individual films we are supposed to be entering, haha. They reference a double-feature, then go on about the werewolf bikers and punkin's and at least three others.

I'm stoked no matter what, though! Hopeful they do an Unmasking tour for this one (doubtful, as it's in a tent[?]) because I'd love to know the backstories for the different movies featured, even if they are just a single scene! Always fun to see the little story development elements they throw in once you know the backstory!

This is in Tent 2 where Hive was; hopefully this gets on the tour since this is more interesting than Hive was

This is gonna be one 80's style house that I will enjoy & packed to the gills. Its gonna be a throw back to when i was a teen in the 80's & I am very excited to walk thru this one many times.

The Skunk Ape. A "real" thing in the sense that it really is the subject of Florida legend.

Really looking forward to this, huge potential.

I was expecting nine movies, based on what I received. If the first scene is now a snack bar, then I'd say it's eight films.

Close up also mentioned Deadly Barbers; so we already know of Cannibal Aliens, Swamp Yeti, Barbers, Baby Cult, Gory Pumpkin Patch, Monsters with a lot of teeth & Werewolf Bikers that will be featured in films in the house.
