HHN Hollywood 2019 Construction Thread

10f55618d6eac1531c31dc9f8c20c399

From Themeparkobsessions instagram, this is the creepshow facade currently, maybe it'll be the actual house after all?

Looks like it got deleted so must have been a good call.

Here’s a construction update taken earlier today:

Now here’s where things get interesting. Notice how the structure of the tent is different from the normal ones?

Other than that, not much new progress on HoTC or Holidayz.

Looks like those Tram Location mazes are gonna be really interesting, seems kinda closer to Orlandos Sprung tent locations, judging by how it looks we might not even have to worry about light bleed for them depending on how it all comes out. Looks like they've made a lot of progress over the last two weeks or so though, since almost all the mazes have most of the interior walls up.

I would say it looks like an open comic book, but books don’t open that way

Look at the cover again.

Notice how the kid folded the other page in half?

Now look at the facade again.

See the little crossbar I highlighted? Now look back at the Creepshow cover.

The cover is divided width-wise by the big, red "Creepshow" title above, and the actual image below. Notice how it's the same thing with the comic book the kid is holding?

There we go. It's a comic book with half of the other page folded over.

Noticing another facade inside Ghostbusters. Hotel, apartment, or library?

there's a noticable overhand below the window, so perhaps the hotel

Edit - i actually like that there actually putting effort and adding facades now, as previous mazes would've used a simple transition hallway.

Really wonder how they're gonna made the Ghostbusters Maze just as scary as others considering its comedy film that is based around chasing ghosts (it's not even that scary).

Murdy said on Twitter that there will be scenes played for the scare and scenes played for laughs. I'm expecting the scare style in the "funnier" scenes to be similar to the scares in Ash vs Evil Dead, i.e. the actor popping out of a boo hole and saying a funny line.
