Ok, so here's why I don't believe that this is the Blumhouse maze, especially after watching the Face Off episode: the evidence reeks of suspiciousness.

Ok think about it for a second, what exactly is Blumhouse Production's connection to this random house on a hill? Why would Jason Blum be hosting his challenge here? We know that there is currently no horror movie that has this particular house. What I'm getting at right now is that the Blumhouse maze will open up to a house that had a challenge on Face-Off. Keyword Face-Off.

There has to be more than this. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the evidence doesn't show that the JP Queue is automatically the Blumhouse mashup maze, but it shows that Blumhouse is involved with this house somehow. I believe that what we are seeing could be the film location for Insidious: Chapter 4.

Does anyone know if the house was used in that episode or if it was just a random house?

It's used and they're going to perform their challenge there. Honestly I could be wrong about it being the Insidious 4 house. It just feels a bit wrong that the facade is more involved in Face Off than actual Blumhouse.

For more context, the challenge is that the final contestants will create 2 characters for a short film based off of a story from "The Blumhouse Book of Nightmares". The story, "Hellhole" by Christopher Denham, is about a family that moves into a house that's haunted with a demon and a portal to hell.

With this year as a whole, everything just seems to be up in the air. I kind of like it. Keeps the mystery.

I actually could see this at HHN and the more I think about it I would honestly like this more then a insidious 4 maze(if they do it right) kinda has a feel of an original house and gives murdy some creative freedom

The challenge for the episode was based a story from one of his books and they filmed at that location.

God Face Off better not come back. If that's the Blumhouse maze I find it stupid they wouldn't just make it the Blumhouse house *sorry for the rant, I appreciate HorrorNightFans' find I just don't buy it yet*

Edit: After seeing the episodes name as Sinister showdown I'm a little more sold it's the Blumhouse maze, I just don't get why John would make THAT the facade instead of something more recognizable

Hey guys, not sure if it's of any significance but I did some digging on google earth and found the exact house for a better angle. It's located in the Inglewood Oil Field. The only connection to Insidious Chapter 4 I could find is the fact that one picture from the set appeared to have a very similar landscape to that of the oil field. Do with this what you will

I think it's safe to say that it's Blumhouse. Didn't Murdy say the facade was gonna be unique / weird or something...?

Looking at all the possibilities, it's most likely Insidious. Yes, the Blumhouse possibility is still valid but if we were going to be critical wouldn't you want a maze's facade that features many IP's to be a bit more elaborate or unique rather than focusing on one POSSIBLE movie design?

Okay but you have to admit, would it be that much out of left field? I mean he did red curtains for Horror Story...

He did. Even if the idea of a literal Blumhouse is unique, it's not likely to happen. You could argue that the JP facade is still Blumhouse but with another design but it's like I said with the IP representation.

(Excuse the double post)
That is true but think about it. AHS was in the direction of a film aesthetic, even inside with each season being displayed before you enter the scenes. So it kinda meshed well with the whole atmosphere of AHS with it being different stories. 29787285315_442f4e2bdf_c.jpg The JP queue just looks like... well, an ordinary house.

So if the leaked list ended up being wrong on Inisidious what do you guys think it could be in the Parisian Courtyard? Also for Writer's Block(if JP is blumhouse) didnt Ethan Hawke have writers block in SiNister? If so that could be the connection
