What maze do you guys think is gonna be the best this year? I feel like Blumhouse or AHS will be, but I also think Saw's gonna be the scariest *i never did the original but it seems so cool*

I really need to watch the new episodes. Only saw the 90s seasons and the movie, but I've heard the new episodes have much HHN potential. I think this year's big 3 mazes that may draw the most attention are The Shining, AHS, and Blumhouse. Saw was okay in 2009, but I wasn't crazy for it 2010, since it was basically the same except they changed two rooms in it.

I honestly think The Shining is going to be the best. The scare factor, atmosphere and soundtrack have me excited for it. Blumhouse might be a good one too.

I don't even know the plot of Twin speaks, nor what it's about. I've heard it has HHN potential though and from what I've seen they can re-use Shining sets for it. I agree with you on the predictions for this year, and I feel like the maze that ends up becoming a fan favorite will be whatever the Conjuring replacement is; all of the possibilities seem like solid mazes

Shining should be good, but the main concerns I've heard is the scaling of the size of the Overlook Hotel into a maze. It should be very good though and I hope the finale is the same as the movie

I'm sure it's safe to assume in the end we'll see the frozen Jack, with "Midnight, the Stars, and You" playing as we exit.

I feel like a Good Chunk of the Mazes can be good. I believe that Blumhouse, Shining, and Ash Vs Evil Dead will be the Mazes that will be highest rated.

Most likely that and frozen Jack will reach out for one last scare. I think the scares in this house will be Jack, Grady twins, Bear man, and Charles Grady

I always wondered how the bear man would be included. Is he going to jump out and give me a b- ...
In all seriousness it's hard to think what he could do compared to everyone else.

He'll probably do the whole "open door with strobe lights and loud scream sound effect" in a hallway. It'll frighten/confuse guests for sure.

True; my guess is well go through a hall, see the bear man, and then go into the Here's Johnny scene. Just talking about The Shining is making me more excited for it

I can imagine the entrance to the Hedge maze, with the theme song blaring out loud, and maybe fog as well.

I'd like to see an illusion effect with Lloyd if they have a bar scene.

Maybe have a mirror effect of Delbert Grady where he tells guests they need to be "corrected". Like a distraction scare.

They better have fake snow in the hedge maze; but if this goes well I could see it being the best house in the Mummy queue

What I am picturing for the blumhouse maze this year is that it'll be very similar to the AHS maze last year, and for me AHS was cool but not that scary to me because they had to juggle fitting three seasons into one maze so I do look forward to the blumhouse maze but have concerns that it might just have too many IPs to fit into one maze. I think that the scariest maze will either be ash v the evil dead or the shining. They both have potential of being very scary but it all just depends on how they are executed, I also have concerns for how little space that the shining has in the mummy queue and how big the hotel is in scale... how do you guys think they will deliver on these mazes?

I have the same concerns as you. I feel like Blumhouse will have 1-2 Purge scenes, 2 Get Out scenes, 1 Split scene, 1-2 Ouija scenes, and maybe 2 Sinister scenes. I'm really excited to see how they transition guests from one movie to another

I'd like to think that Blumhouse will have an original layout and atmosphere but will feature the characters from Blumhouse IP's. A bit of a balance between an original maze and an IP maze.
